In a world full of Starbucks its good to still find a nice independent coffee shop with friendly service. The place looks great inside with nice woodwork all over the place. The coffee tasted good and the staff was chatty with the customers, not each other.

Found this place by chance as I was walking past and noticed outdoor seating under umbrellas. It was late morning and I’d had enough coffee but I was hungry. I ordered the $10 Heavy Hitter; see menu photo for ingredients. Sat inside listing to the reggae music. Socially disenfranchised youth scene with a mix of artwork and trinkets for sale. Heavy Hitter was tasty and filling. I’ll come another time to try the coffee.

wasn’t the best coffee place I’ve been to, the room layout was super awkward, coffee was okay. It was just a really weird layout with a room in the back and just felt super crowded with everything going on in the shop. The baristas were sweet. Maybe that’s a vibe ppl like but I didn’t really enjoy it. Except for the hidden room with couches that place felt more comfortable. Probably won’t come back:/ not horrible just not my preference. cap was good but the vanilla syrup tasted artificial.

You can tell a lot about an establishment by the service. We were here this past Tuesday and the baristas were kind, genuine, and accommodating. They were so friendly! Their club sandwich was out of this world, not the typical quick food you find at a coffee shop…. arugula, roasted tomato, whipped cream cheese? Crazy good. And the establishment itself is beautiful with lots of plants and community artists on display.

Bad Fish Coffee and Tea is a must try bistro with coffee delicacies and delicious cuisine. We have been there numerous times in the last 6 months and have enjoyed every visit. They have outdoor and indoor seating with a back room for meetings and small events. If you are looking for a meeting spot with colleagues and business partners this is an excellent venue with great service and wonderful beverages. My personal favorite is their iced mocha with avocado toast.
