You don’t go to a gas station for the atmosphere. You go to the gas station either for some gas, but better yet for the barbecue. If you love North Carolina style vinegar barbecue, this is the place to be. Purchase the 1 lb barbecue container that comes with a small container of coleslaw and a small container of barbecue sauce. You can customize your own sandwich. The more sauce you add, the hotter and tangier the barbecue becomes. You can fill up your car with gas and get a car wash while you’re there as well. Pick up your lottery tickets and some buns, soda, and beer while you’re there, too.

They provided catering for the apartment I live at. Everything was good! Meat was very tender and flavorful and the sides were really good. Both the coleslaw and the mac & cheese was SUPER good. Their house BBQ sauce was also delicious. I would definitely go there and try them myself.

I love Malbon Bros! They have a Happy Hour for gas prices! Who does that? They also have a really nice car wash area in their parking lot and if you purchase the wash along with the gas you get a free BBQ sandwich.

We ordered $80 of food from Malbon’s today. This included a la carte pulled bbq on a scale of 1 – 10 it was at best a 5 if you like sweet. One Lb of each, collards, baked beans (pork n beans) and green beans all of then taste like they were straight out of a can. Scale -0. Philly chz steak at best 5. Hush puppies 2 orders burnt! Also bacon cheese burger w/fries both over cooked no seasoning. Needless to say never will I ever be going back. Spend your money somewhere else. Beach Bully or whitener’s.

Absolutely love supporting locally-owned small business. Mark is very well in touch with his community. I plan my fuel stops around coming/going to Malbons instead of the dozens of corporate-owned locations en route. My children call it “the piggy store” and I love that they get excited over stopping in and getting treats. We have always had great service at the counter from every single employee.

Best BBQ I’ve ever had. I had the breakfast stacker and it was amazing. Hash browns, cheese, pulled pork, topped with 2 eggs and a side of toast. My husband and cousin had the pulled pork sandwich and just raved. No need for sauce bc it’s delicious on its own. Would highly recommend and I will definitely come back. Nothing fancy but they carry anything you need along with the bbq area. Gas, food, candy, etc. They also sell their bbq in take out containers.

We only stopped for gas, but there were a lot of pumps and a free car wash with 10 gallons of gas. Normally $10, so it felt good to get something to ease the pain of filling up the tank these days.
