I would never be able to recommend Apson. I tried it when it first opened and it was, meh. Tried it today because my go to burrito truck was not there. $30 for a carne asada burrito, no beans or rice and a chicken quesadilla.

Trying new place and stumbled across Tacos Apson. Staff was very helpful and asked for recommendations. They suggested the taco apson and taco Hass, and both were very good. Basically, the difference is that one has mushrooms, and the other doesn’t. Salsa bar had a lot of choices. Red salsas were hotter. Verde Salsa was very nice. Will have to come back and try more.

This little whole in the wall has the best authentic Mexican food!! I’ve been a few times and it is always great! I love their Sonoran Dog on a super soft home made bun! Service has always been awesome and they have a great fresh salsa bar! Not a fancy place – but the food is top notch!! Specialty-Great rib tacos off the bone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The atmosphere is pretty poor and the food was bad. I got a pastor burrito and it was only meat and tortilla. It tasted like greasy leftovers. I threw it in the trash because it was so bad. Does anyone really eat a half pound of meat in a tortilla without any rice or beans or cilantro, cream, or cabbage or even salsa?

The atmosphere was clean and inviting, however, the food. Is very, very overpriced food for the amount you get. I ordered the carne asada plate and thought it came with sides for the 16bks I paid, but nope. It was just a small hand sized foam plate with meat and cheese. My husband ordered the $15 burrito, and it was smaller than expected. After ordering drinks , our total was $49 dollars. The only good thing was a fresh salsa bar they had.

I was brought to this place because I watch Mark Wiens on YouTube and he hyped this place up, that I had to try it. I thought it was OK, the meat was lacking a bit of salt for my taste but everything else was good. I had tacos de tripa (intestine), lengua (tongue) & cabeza (head). The tortillas were decent. Most taco places in many states have horrible tortillas, which makes the taco taste better or worse. Tacos Apson has good tortillas. I would recommend it.

I drove up to the front of the Tacos Apson on Thornydale and ordered from my vehicle. I am handicapped and it takes me a while to get in and out of my vehicle. We were going to grab a quick lunch and head out to other errands. The person understood and took care of my order very quickly and professionally. The Tacos Apson were delicious, and my wife liked the mushrooms in them as well we’ll be back. Next time, we’ll dine in!
