I was really disappointed in my meal. I had fried mushrooms for an appetizer, then a pasta bake with added meatballs for the main course. Mushrooms were eh. Pasta bake wasn’t good, the sauce is very sweet and lacks that Italian marinara flavor. Meatballs had a weird taste to them and I only ate half of one before giving up on it. Even the garlic bread was disappointing.

The place was quiet where we were seated – no music or TV’s on – very eerie. I felt like we were too loud because of this. I ordered the gluten free pizza with pepperoni and basil. It was fine, nothing special. The crust was a bit soggy. I’m not a fan of sweet sauce, but that’s a personal preference. There wasn’t a whole lot of flavor in the pizza – rather bland.

My husband is NY Italian and finicky about cannoli…he says Joe’s are the first authentic cannoli he’s had in the last 15 years. I take him home some every time I’m in Shelbyville

Great Pizza in a small town. Be coming here for years and is always on my list when I am back in Shelbyville. Megan will make sure your meal is done right and your glass is full.

Joes is our favorite place to eat in town. We love the new lunch buffet option, but supper time with the cheeseburgers and St. Louis style pizza is the best❤️

We tried a recent addition to the pizza menu: Chicago style. Pete & Laura have created boutique take on the old Chicago thick crust pan pizza. You pick ur toppings & they become ingredients, because the perfectly toasted crust seems to wrap around them when it comes to your table. It was unique & pretty excellent. These pizzas take a few extra minutes, & cost bit more. But when you see it & taste it, that won’t matter. Small town fine dining at it’s best!

Their pizza is good. Is usually cut in squares and is light on sauce so you could ask for more sauce ig, just a preference thing tho. I enjoyed it and generally like this place, local and good people so feels homey. We still order here for our family reunion so really is good to have and the order didn’t take them too long.

Good service. Personally, we were very disappointed in the pizza. The crust tasted like pre-made frozen. It tasted like cardboard. I think the mushrooms were canned. They might have other menu items that are tasty; I don’t know. For almost $40, we expected better pizza. Save your money and go somewhere else if you want real pizza.
