Have long wanted to check out Calypso and very glad we did. Stopped in late. The place was packed but got a seat right away. Started with some fun drinks, both very colorful and tasty. We heard the Jalapeño Cornbread was a must-have, and indeed it was. It came out the same time as the main dishes, which worked as it really was a balance to the heat of the Rasta Pasta and Jerk Pork Loin. We enjoyed both dishes. the Jerk seasoning was bold but not overwhelming. The place has a cool vibe, our server was very friendly, and prices were fair. We’ll be back.

Loved the atmosphere of this place and staff is super nice. Food was excellent with nice flavor in the dishes. Steak was cooked perfectly but I’d highly recommend the rasta pasta or the blackened rockfish fettuccine!

This place is where you want to go! Everything here hits hard n makes you feel like you wana come again. There was kind side walk chalk art of a MOM tattoo and parking right out front n beach nearby! From the art and decor to the best drinks we’ve had in awhile: PS get the pineapple cup . Menu options were impressive have a delicious Vegan dish *Havana sweet potato* Always nice to stop by and catch the Calypso in Edmonds ️☀️

The service was excellent and the food was good but didn’t fully live up to our expectations. We ordered the scallops for our appetizer – cooked well but all the seasoning was in a very thin gravy that didn’t catch on to the scallops, for entrees we got the jerk pork loin – was overcooked and tough but the rice that came and the flavors were great, and the curried goat – cooked perfectly, soft and well seasoned. The cocktails were potent but taste wise they fell a bit flat.
