Perfect place to stop for a bite mid ski day! Hemp burgers are surprisingly good. You eat outside, get to have a beer and chill on the mountain at the base of Timberline. Sweet little mountain spot.

Good selection of food and drink options for on mountain cafe and a pretty quick stop if you are on the move. Like the burgers and the fries are quite good, worth a stop.

Basic picnic food with great service in an amazing spot. On a sunny day, it’s delightful at almost any temperature. Recharge for more time on the slopes with sausages, hamburgers, Gatorade and beer.

One of the coolest mid mountain lodges in all of Colorado. This place is always my go to stop to refuel and take a rest from hitting the slopes. Only negative is that there’s technically no place indoors to warm up but you should be dressed warm enough so enjoy the great outdoors!

Everything is pricey but hey, you are in the middle of the mountain. The coolest hangout when your high up on the mountain and need a break.

Pretty basic mid-mountain bar with only a few options for food. Atmosphere on sunny warm days is fantastic, but with no indoor seating, you don’t want to hang out too long when it’s cold. I usually just grab a quick drink or a bratwurst if I’m super hungry, then jump right back on the lift

Great place out of the way on the easy side of the mountain. If Solitude is too busy, this place won’t be. Has restrooms. Plenty of tables and lawn chairs in the snow to relax or fiddle with gear. Food is hot, bar is reasonably well stocked. Here is what $20 gets you, which is “normal” mountain prices.

For us it is so fun to ski/board to a place that is only accessible by the slopes! The view is incredible! There are certain spots you want to avoid sitting because of the sewage smell but you can easily detect where that is and isn’t! It’s nice that there is a bathroom here! If you want to use it don’t come at prime lunch time or else you’ll have to wait (if you’re a woman)!
