Everything was very good. Honestly 6:30pm on a Saturday and it was empty. Service was excellent, attentive, and friendly. Food was delicious. We got the Chicken Pad Thai and Katsu Burrito both came out pretty quickly, perfectly prepared, and the portions were huge. Definitely coming back for more.

First time there. It’s right by The Melting Pot. Which was slammed. We saw Happy Teriyaki and said, “Why not try?” Love how they have screens at doors so no Flys place was nice and clean food came out really fast and u get alot for ur buck. When we got home, I put on some plates, and it didn’t even look like I put a dent in the food in the to go box. The food is really good. I will for sure go back. It’s hard to find good teriyaki places that are not always the same place you always go.. so if u like Teriyaki and want to try a new place, try this place they also server bubble tea and sushi

This is not the same Happy Teriyaki! I used to work downtown Tacoma and get lunch there and the food was always yummy. Stopped in to pick up today. We ordered Chicken Broccoli, Chicken Teriyaki, Spicy Tuna roll, Spicy Salmon roll, and alligator roll. This food was not the same. The spicy tuna was overly spicy and had crunchy lumps in it. The Spicy Salmon has no spice and really no taste at all. The Alligator roll has just the tip end of the shrimp tail with the shell still on it versus a piece enagi on top. As for the Broccoli Chicken the broccoli was raw and the chicken was tough and had an unusual aftertaste. After driving 30 minutes to pick up food and 30 minutes back home, the food was tossed in the garbage. So disappointed, and what a waste of $112

Food was excellent. Servings were huge!!! I would say the combo meal is good to share for two people with an extra scoop of rice. We love the beef and chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, orange chicken. Price was reasonable. About $15-17 per combo. Would come back again and again.

Paid $52 for chicken teriyaki, spicy tuna roll and unagi roll. The food was very bad. The chicken was dry, the sauce on the teriyaki didnt taste or look like teriyaki. The steam vegetables were not cooked. And the sushi was average at best. Don’t know if there is new management but I use to love this place years ago.
