This place is every underrated. The food tasted amazing, especially the lomo saltado, it was so delicious. The horchata was also so flavorful and tasted amazing, I’ll excited to come back for more. They also have a sign outside that says they have karaoke nights, and inside they have some gambling machines and hookahs, so seems like a fun place to come to at night as well.

Where do i begin. Food is terrible. Everything is served in paper plates, coffee is in a styrofoam cup, sugar is in food prep bottle, and the whole place looks like my aunties living room. Literally, anyways i digress. Customer service was okay up until the DJ said in spanish, You animals don’t like my Christmas music ?! At his DJ stand beyond drunk… because he had been drinking at the bar the whole time we were there. Both the food and staff terrible, but i think if i had to choose which was the worst. It was the food. Lastly, they are charging 11% tax on your food, charging 15% tip on the total amount after tax, and their receipt? No itemization. When i asked for an explanation on the 11% she said thats the tax they charge everyone, its standard.

My coworker was sick on Monday, so I order a chicken soup from this place.(first Hispanic place I found) I was charged $18.81 for a chicken soup, lady on the phone said I could only pay with CC before picking up.. I said fine, I didn’t ask how much the soups were because I was looking at their menu online and it says $8.95, I went to pick up and I get no receipt and I noticed on my account it was $18.81 for the soup. I called the lady (she was the only one at the restaurant) to ask for their chicken soup price, at first she said are you picking it up or dining in? I said pick up and she said $18, I said isn’t that the seafood soup? (which its $16.45 or something on their menu) she said no, the seafood soup is $19.. $1 more than a chicken soup? seafood soups I know they are expensive but chicken soup? anyways I told her if they had changed their menu recently and this is what she said ” UYYYY hace 10 a?os” meaning 10 years ago.. and she hang up on me. My mistake was to not ask for the total before paying but she kept insisting I need to pay I need to pay and if I was sure I was picking up and If I lived closed. I think is not the first time she overcharged someone and added to her Tip account or whatever, but not even on Grubhud their soup is almost $19, is $15.45 which it may be because is a delivery fee or whatever.

I came here to try it, I believe in giving small business a chance but I did regret it this time. The food took much longer than I was told, I was giving semi burnt plantains and super greasy food. I was overcharged for the food and was also charge a 10% tax I paid and then asked for a receipt to find they do add charges or charge extra! Very disappointed!

BEWARE! Overpriced and horrible service. Be careful with your bill they will try to overcharge you. We ordered one beer one margarita and one plate of tacos and were charged 36 dollars! I asked to see why and they couldn’t explain. Waitress tried to tell us it was over 13 just on taxes. She added her own 15% tip and decided to round off. Stay away and don’t waste it on an overpriced 10.95 mediocre margarita.
