I just recently got into Greek food and mannnn was it good here. I got the trio beef, chicken, and lamb shawarma. Great flavor and the rice was delicious. The hummus and the pita was very fresh tasting and paired well with the rest of the food.

Food was delicious, hot, and fresh. It takes a bit longer to come out but it’s because nothing is sitting in a warmer they only start cooking once you order and due to that the food tastes amazing definitely worth the wait.

I strongly DO NOT recommend ordering delivery from this restaurant. I ordered twice two nights in a row and both times I had a very negative experience. The first night I had ordered super close to close but was not aware of that as uber eats did not show closing soon; but regardless my driver arrived at the restaurant only to be told they simply did not make my food. Uber eats was not notified and it was very frustrating as I had to go through a whole refund process. Secondly I ordered this time from door dash and upon beginning to eat the food I discovered a receipt cooked into my meal. The unprofessionalism and lack of quality in my order is extremely disappointing. Again I would simply say go elsewhere!

Was excited to try this place out and I’m really glad I did. Service was excellent and the food was even better! Everything is made fresh to order, so it does take some time to get made but it is very much worth it. I had the chicken shawarma over rice and my girlfriend had the chicken kebab wrap with fries. Food was fresh and flavor and the portions were nice! I had enough left over for a snack later, but I’m a not a super heavy eater.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Halal Project, nestled on 312 University Drive, San Marcos, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of phenomenal. The highlight was, undoubtedly, the Shawarma. Crafted with culinary finesse, it was a delicious journey of flavors and textures that completely took over the senses.

I concur with all the reviews mentioned here. Loved all that we had here and they were accommodating to our preferences of no rice and my son’s no salad. Food and service was awesome. My mum and son said the baklava was so good. Would definitely come back. I like the fact that there was ample parking spaces here too sometimes it’s hard to get parking around the University area.
