We found a clean, upbeat, casual eatery specializing in Mexican cuisine. I ordered their Saturday special, a burrito super gigante (plate-sized picture) for under $10 – definitely a 2-person meal or a hearty appetite. When we ordered our meals, we failed to consider the details associated with their post and the menu description. The Enchiladas San Roque includes your choice for meat, a fresh avocado topping, all covered with a light cheese dip. The rice and beans worked well with the chips. In town to visit my great grandmother’s grave site and we were famished. I couldn’t decide what to get and ended up on the Frida salad, no dressing with grilled chicken and it was so good. We now have a regular spot when in town to visit family.

Now Potrillos, which we loved in Carlinville. Very happy this one is closer. The same huge, fantastic menu. The food was delicious. Our server, Nick, was fabulous. He went out of his way to make our birthday celebration fun.

Normally a great experience but this Saturday we had family in and we took them here. Drink order was super fast but 30 min later they took our food order. It seemed as soon as one tables food came out then they made the next order. Speed was super slow.
