Awesome find in the heart of Ashland! Enjoy the plaza view from the balcony or the beautiful Mexican decor and music inside. The margaritas and food were delicious and authentic (trust us, we love Mexico and grew up in San Diego). Will definitely go back for dinner. We heard on the weekends they have a DJ and dancing in the main room!

We had a blast here. We sat in the outdoor balcony. They did have heaters. The guacamole was good. The molcajete was good, but most of the meats were over cooked (steak, shrimp, chicken) the parts down in the juice were much better. The sausage was fantastic…thee best I’ve had in a molcajete. The cochanita pibil was good, but we’d try something else next time. The roasted pineapple mezcal drink is a must try. The key lime pie was incredible. Cheers

The food was impressive, some real unique menu items you don’t see everywhere as well. If sitting inside i recommend a window seat as the view of downtown is great.

Tasty and traditional Mexican food with an artisanal flourish destined to delight your tastebuds. If you like mezcal cocktails, this is definitely the place to go. The bar is stocked with an array of mezcal & tequila. The horchata & hibiscus are made in-house and deliciously refreshing. Love the street tacos, elotes, enchiladas, chile relleno & omg the fajitas!!! Lots of vegetarian options and yummy desserts too. Great service & a fun place to hang!

The food was good, but one of the servers was unnecessarily rude for no reason. Three of us sat at a table near the bar. The room was dark enough that we couldn’t read the menu. I asked our server if he could turn on the lights and he was happy to help. Another patron mentioned how nice it was to be able to finally see his food. Fast forward 20ish minutes and a female server walks into the bar area, mentions how the owner doesn’t like it when the lights are on, and proceeded to turn the lights back off. One of the women I was with mentioned to the waitress that as a customer, we would really like to be able to see our food. In the middle of her statement, the waitress turned around and walked away leaving the lights off. Our actual server was great. I don’t know who that lady was, but her behavior ensured I won’t be going back.
