We had to request to be seated after waiting at the door when we arrived in a very bizarre exchange. My husband ordered the chicken enchiladas, and there was a random red chip in the middle of his dish. I opted for fish tacos. My fish tacos tasted like frozen fish sticks, had a slimy sauce, and an overall unpleasant taste. I’ve never had fish tacos so bad. The finger fajitas were excellent! Really, the only thing we enjoyed was that. Worse still, our server was not exactly pleasant. When I told him I didn’t like the fish tacos he snatched the plate and slammed it on the table next to me and my husband. Then proceeded to ignore us and take another couples order LEAVING THE PLATE SITTING ON A CLEAN EMPTY TABLE NEXT TO US. It was embarrassing for us. We won’t be going back. Just a very bad experience overall.

Almost 5 stars but we got our appetizer after our main meal. Though bless our waitress who took it off our bill. Outside of this one blunder. The 2 main meals were really good and tasty. The Chicken Chorizo Bacon tacos were a good blend of meats and veggies. Would get any of their tacos tbh. The guacamole is a MUST ORDER. SO SO SO GOOD. Finally try to eat on the balcony, a good view of downtown wauwatosa.

Had a Great Experience the other day here with some family. Nick the assistant Manager was amazing! As he helped me out he also was helping out 2 eldery ladies like a gentleman. Very good choice on hiring this guy! Very clear, concise and proper. Maria was our bartender and she was awesome. Definitely coming back again and again due to the service I had gotten. I also came back again on a Friday night and Saturday and Nick was amazing. Guacamole is awesome and the Flan is Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very friendly people, very nice, clean atmosphere, and a lovely little location. Honestly, I haven’t had a lot to eat there, I went for some light food before me and my friend went off to do other stuff around town. BUT the guacamole is killer–they prep it table-side so it’s fun to watch and tell them how much jalapeno you want in it, etc, the fried ice cream is heckin’ fun. Generally, it’s a good time. And they have good reviews so I will be happy to go back and have some REAL food on an empty stomach.

So we go for happy hour in the bar. It’s EVERYDAY, from 3-6pm. Wednesdays the margaritas and frozen sangria are half off. We love the frozen sangria, no other place has anything like it!! The also have a bar menu with yummy food, at small prices!! You have to go!!!!!

We ordered a taco bar from the Bayside location for a family event with 45 people. It was a hit with all our guests. We put the final order in on a Monday, and the food was ready on time for pick up on Saturday. Staff took the time to show us how to set up the catering trays so everything stayed warm without burning. The food was on the mild side, which is what we needed for a large gathering. Have some hot sauce ready for spice loving guests. All main dishes were gluten free. Corn tortillas were packed separately from the flour tortillas. My only suggestion would be to label the salsas. We had a couple people doing tasting to figure it out. Overall, I would recommend Jose’s Blue Sombrero for an informal event.

Very very very great service. Dulce was an incredible server/bartender. The portions and drink deals were better than most, and they had a Great atmosphere. This place really shines in all areas. The food is good, but I could go for just a little more flavor, but they are better than a lot of places.

Good enough food, great service, but way overpriced for what it is. Most likely won’t return. Could get 4x the food for the same price from lots of other Mexican restaurants in town. My kids bean and cheese burrito was $15 where my 2 fancier tacos were $13?
