This place to me is awesome, stress free from what I see, friendly, I mean the atmosphere is so inviting. The prices are so good, I will most certainly be coming back here and I recommend this place to anyone. The reason I chose the picture with the papers hanging is that if you look closely, you will notice 99.5 cleanliness. And I will kid you not, the place is immaculate. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend you stop in, you will not regret it one bit.

Stopped in early this morning, Saturday, and no issues finding a seat at a table. Definitely a local vibe. Ordered the managers’ special, 2 eggs, grits, choice of meat, grits, and toast. Can’t beat the price. Good, fast, and friendly service. Looks small from the outside, and realistically, it is, but there’s a good size counter in addition to the tables. And a drive-thru.

This place used to be awesome and I usually like the food but over time I’ve noticed a decrease in food quality, at least for breakfast. The gravy biscuits taste so plain now, like no salt at all was add to the gravy. My husband and went by today for breakfast( drive thru) they charged us for everything but left half of our order out. We’ve never had that problem before so didn’t even think to check it.

If you’re looking for a great, home-cooking, budget-friendly place this is it! Breakfast was awesome, service was fantastic, and price can’t be beat! I got 2 eggs, livermush, tater tots, and 2 pieces of toast plus coffee for $7, including tax!!!

Couple things I can add about this place. I want to say I love this small joint. They have great food but I can add some things here. Recently they put their toasted breakfast sandwiches in aluminum foil which just makes everything soggy. So if you order take out nothing comes out “on toast” I usually have to re-toast it if I can so I can eat it how I want. they have Styrofoam cups which I do like over paper. Main concern is it needs some emprovements to make drive thru service faster. The place has limited seating inside and parking outside so improving the drivethru would help you out A LOT. They won’t tell you the total of your food until you pull to the window either so that can really slow down a line. Multiple times i’ve drove by and passed you guys up because the line is too long and I don’t have time to wait..

I first ate here with my dad at the old place before 127 was widened back in the 1970’s when I was a boy. When I was an undergrad at Lenoir-Rhyne College in the 1980’s a cheeseburger with bacon and a fried egg and fries eased me through a lot of hangovers. I’m now an old lawyer, and the memories and food still bring me comfort.
