I ordered a delivery and inside the bag was the wrong item. I called the restaurant and they got the manager on the phone (I calmly called and didn’t ask to talk to the manager, just for context) who told me that they could get the right item delivered in 15 minutes if I didn’t mind waiting and that he was very sorry. I expected them to just offer a credit or something similar. I didn’t expect them to bring the correct item let alone in a timely manner on a Friday evening, but they went above and beyond. I love their food and am happily surprised at how nicely they handled the situation. Peking Chef for the win!

My cousin and I went here. As we entered we noticed a row of tables down along each wall and away at the back was a cash register and cooler with beverages in. I went to the register to get a paper menu. I was asked “what do you want”. I asked if we could sit in and eat.”oh you want to eat here,sure” We picked a table and ordered our food. She brought us water in a paper cup as well as a plastic fork and one paper napkin and paper plate. She brought our food in covered to go containers. My cousin’s food was not what she ordered and was too for her. It was not listed as spicy . My order came with a gravy that I didn’t like at all. The woman didn’t seem to understand what we were saying. So we paid and left I know food is a subjective thing. But the environment was ridiculous. Since they clearly have a dining area(oh yeah with no heat). Could they use actual dishes? We won’t be going back.

This used to be one of my favorite chinese restaurants in town before the menu changed. As a vegetarian, I’m disappointed. The tofu was neither pan fried, deep fried, or baked but instead it is soggy and mushy. It was mixed with frozen vegetables and a poorly flavored sauce. The rice was undercooked and a portion too small given the content of the entree. I unfortunately threw it away because of how unappetizing it was. Vegetarians, look elsewhere for better quality options and more experienced chefs.

Ordered food and got food poisoning. Called to ask for a refund and the owner/manager was very angry and kept denying it. At one point she said I was lying and asked me why I didn’t call last night after I ordered. I told her I waited until today because I was too busy barfing my brains out. I’m not usually one to post a complaint online but the customer service was terrible, not too mention the food poisoning.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the the northeast Milwaukee area. They had the best buffet. Even though we’ve a wide and oh so satisfying exploration of their menu over the years, I suspect that we have more delights ahead of us. I recently called to find out when they might be ready for indoor dining and learned that they are not yet there.

To put it simply it’s the worst Chinese meal I’ve ever had. How can you mess up sweet and sour chicken? Oh by using completely inedible chunks of essentially grit and gristle of the chicken. Could not recommend less. Idk how it has 4.3 stars..

I had a curry dish. The vegetables were barely cooked. I bit into something crunchy and black that wasn’t supposed to be there. Not sure what it was. But this was not a positive dining experience.

Peking Chef is my favorite chinese restaurant in the Milwaukee area. The food and the service here are excellent. In addition to the standard Chinese American fare you typically find in a Chinese restaurant, the menu also contains Indonesian and Thai dishes, aromatic and absolutely delicious. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, and I’ve never been disappointed.
