I have been coming to this location for years and I love it. When I was a student I went to La Madeleine to drink hot tea and to study, meet my friends. Now I like to come for brunch. They have an outdoor seating too. Yesterday I went and got chicken Caesar salad for me and my mom to initiate Mother’s Day weekend. They have been very consistent with the food, quality and so on. I buy fresh bread (sourdough is my fave ) there on occasion as well. Dessert – fruit tart is my go to. ❤️ Happy eating !

Had to get a dish corrected since they gave a cup after ordering a bowl, barely tried to fix it. Took forever to get a dish that was ordered and everyone else got their food, leaving one person just to wait.

I have been here several times, and there are a few things which stick out about this place. The atmosphere is a huge part, it is calm and tranquil, catering to an older clientele. The food is delicious and consistent, and they serve breakfast all day. Finally, their wine and coffee are good- not excellent, but good. We always have a good experience, but what makes this place stand out most of all is the atmosphere. It just has the it factor.

Place used to be great, but lately it seems to have gone downhill. I almost always order the field salad (it’s great), but last trip I didn’t order anything, just sat with my friends and talked. There were at least 30 people in line at any given time, and several workers wandering around occasionally taking orders.

So disappointed! La Madeline used to be one of our favorite places to go for their Chicken Caesar Salad. Since the covid situation, their portion size has gone down and down. Gone is the warm chicken wrapped in foil, and the larger portions with grated parmesan cheese. The chicken is scooped out like ice cream, cold and without much flavor. The plate is a smaller size and they heap the croutons on to make it look bigger. Two “regular” size salads were $25. We won’t go there again. It’s added to our “Do Not Return” list that is growing long. Too bad.
