Okay so.. sure, it’s a 4 outta 5 kind of place. HOWEVER, Tuesday is Teriyaki Tuesday, and you can get a beef or chicken combo for $5.99, and $1 more will get you extra meat.

We ordered the orange chicken large and it was mostly rice and the rice was under cook and hard. The orange chicken and the egg rolls taste horrible. The service was acceptable. I will not return not recommend.

I went because I used to love their teriyaki bowls before all but this one closed. I was on this side of town and saw it and ordered a bowl, the memory was better than the reality. It was ok but the chicken was stringy and there was hardly any in the bowl and the prices were super high

I am very disappointed with Yokohama. I had not been to a Yokohama in years. I remember the teriyaki chicken tasted very good. They would give you big slices of chicken that actually tasted like grilled teriyaki chicken. The teriyaki used to be thicker and with much more flavor. Though now the chicken looks like shredded boiled chicken. The teriyaki is very like and doesn’t have lots of flavor. Not to mention the prices. So expensive. The girl in the front was very nice and did give great customer service. The food was fast to come out. Though the teriyaki chicken got a big fat F.

My very first time at this place. I got sweet and sour chicken and just like the previous comments, I had more rice than chicken. Not only that, the rice tasted like they used not so clean water. I just ordered a large beef and broccoli.. Was expecting 2 typical Chinese takeout boxes 1 big one full of beef and broccoli and a small one with rice, not this. This is mostly white rice with 1 scoop of protein spread out..

Since about a month ago that I came here to eat prices have increased 75%, and the menu boards do not reflect new prices. All they say is menu board will be updated soon . I will not be coming back. I’ll make the drive to a better tasting restaurant.

Really is just how it used to be in the early/late 2000s. Orders are usually wrong to some degree. I asked for 2 teriyaki bowls, one spicy and one regular with no veggies and instead they gave me two regulars (not spicy) both with veggies. Don’t get me wrong, I ate them and they were good. The rice was a little soggy and the sauce isn’t as sticky or as flavorful as it used to be. 3 stars bc it’s just fine. Best day to go is on Tuesday if you want the deal on teriyaki.

Beware of Yokohama Asian express on Valencia Rd….this was my 9 year old son’s bowl…went there yesterday for some lunch and my son pulls a worm out of his chicken, I demanded a FULL refund on my whole order, for we literally just sat down to eat, guy behind the counter was VERY understanding, calls his manager and she refused to refund the whole order of 80 bucks, I did NOT leave without getting my 80 back, while arguing over his phone on speaker cause she didn’t want to talk to me, I told her I was gonna call the health department, and FINALLY she says “damnit, just refund them the 80” very unprofessional….I will not be going back, cause if there’s one worm, there is DEFINITELY more!

OMG! This has been the worse. Normally would order teriyaki chicken but took a chance on the yakisoba noodles. It looked and tasted old. Maybe they pulled it out of the trash. The cream puffs were super oily. They need to do better!
