We used to go to Forestview Restaurant quite a bit, a dozen or so years ago. New places opened near us, so we hadn’t been there in quite some time. We figured it was time for a revisit for a breakfast over the weekend. We are glad we did.

Me and my two sons were looking for somewhere to eat at around 8:30 pm. Everything was closed or about to close and we stopped by Forestview to see IF they were opened. They were opened but closing at 9pm BUT still served us! Given that, you’d think they would rush us out, limit what we could order, or even the food wouldn’t be so great. NO WAY! Food was outstanding! Huge portions, ALL reasonably priced. Even the service was outstanding. Geez, I’m even guilty of being a bit short and sweet with customers towards the end of my work day and we were treated like their first customer of the day. Not rushed out, ordered anything we wanted and the food was so fresh and delicious. That says a lot about a restaurant! I will go there again and again!

I was happy to find a restaurant open on a Monday that does breakfast all day! It’s not fancy and does what it does well. It wasn’t busy and they met us stay awhile chatting.

I got the build your own breakfast with eggs, toast, sausage, and pancakes. When my breakfast came, there was mold on my toast. I’m not sure how the cook didn’t see it considering it was in plain sight when he had to butter the toast. I only ate one egg and pushed it aside to eat the pancakes. I had two containers on the plate. One was syrup, one was Greek dressing. When the waitress came to check on me to see how everything was, she noticed that there weren’t 2 syrups and then I mentioned my toast situation. She apologized and got me new toast and asked if i wanted new eggs, but left the moldy toast on my plate the whole time. I got my check and still had to pay full price for my meal. Awful service. The only reason I’m not giving 1 star is because I have had good food in the past for take out.

We took the family there since they have a great variety menu. When we sat down, there was a vent above us blowing cold air, when asked if we can move she said that all the vents were pushing out cold air.

Waited forever for our server to take drink order. Two tables seated after us got drinks and food before us, after I complained about how long it is taking our food finally came out and my sons pizza was burnt. Plus they were out of one of specials and some menu items

First time getting fish fry (or anything fir that matter) from here. The fish was excellent! Got mac salad instead of the coleslaw I asked for, but all in all it was all great. Will definitely order from here again!
