Very cute and quaint shop, their food is tremendous and one of the best tortas in Phoenix for sure! If you like authentic tastes and are craving something better than the generic trashibertos, than stop in for a delicious sandwich that will leave a craving for another. The location is a little hard to find, but if you are driving you won’t be able to miss the purple building across the street from it. Plus the people are so lovely, and a bonus that they are a small family business.

TLDR: Tasty tortas in a fast casual setting. Great option for a quick lunch!

The service is above and beyond. I went there for lunch and had a milanesa de pollo torta, I was not aware it came with a side of fries and a guacamole salsa. I ordered a side of rice and beans. The beans could have been a bit less sweet but nothing out of the ordinary. The only thing I would change would be the amount of sugar in the mango agua. Other than the drink everything tasted balanced and authentic.

Got lunch here today. The tortas were fantastic, fries were piping hot, and everyone was so nice. Get an Aqua fresca you wont regret it!

Excellent locally-owned spot with a killer torta! Stopped by for a quick bite mid-afternoon and had the friendliest and quick service. I had the regular size Pacifico torta which had pork leg, ham, pineapple, and chipotle…it was a dream come true. The torta also came with fries and a fresh green salsa/sauce. I couldn’t go without grabbing one taco as well. The al pastor was perfectly delicious! What great new find and look forward to visiting again and trying more from their vast menu of tortas!

I would give them more stars if I can! 20 de 10 as we say in Mexico, this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in the the people there are just so nice! We ordered torta ahogada and the salsa is the best; also torta de jamón and it was delicious; tacos de carne asada and they’re bomb. I love the avocado salsa they give you with the tacos and the aguas frescas are so delicious, we tried horchata, mango and pineapple and they’re natural. We’ll be coming back for sure!

One of my favorite spots to get Tortas. One of the few places that makes cochinita pibil tortas. Their cochinita pibil is more stew like, which I prefer from the shredded version.

My favorite is the Cochinita pibil, pulled pork torta. It is truly an award winning sandwich. Artfully crafted, shredded pork was seasoned and marinated perfectly, the pork is garnished with fresh slices of avocado and tomato on a soft torta roll that can hardly contain the filling. You almost want to eat the thin paper that’s holding this sandwich intact after you get your first bite! All of the sauces are very tasty and really put the sandwich over the top with flavor.

To be honest, I wouldn’t know good authentic Mexican food if it hit me in the face. I pretty much threw a dart at the menu and ate. The food was soon good. Everyone was great. My whole party of friends really enjoyed he food and the atmosphere.

Good eats. Had the conchinita pibil torta. Nicely flavored pork. Soft bollilo roll. Fresh toppings. Really tasty. Knocked a star off because its a little spendy. But in fairness, what isn’t these days.
