A Japanese food joint that’s more faithful to the original experience. Even the waitresses dress in kimono-like outfits at times. The atmosphere is true to the culture, and the food resembles actual Japanese food than other places that have more Americanized versions of orders. My go to is the Hama Special Noodles, can’t go wrong with a nice bowl of ramen!

Wonderful sushi! Really enjoyed the Japanese Nacho roll, I had two! I also liked the Rock ‘n Roll and miso soup.

Tops my list of favorites. Food, staff & other diners make for a great time. My husband gets to practice his Japanese which he enjoys.

Best place in town, definitely a great whole in the wall. Everything from the Sushi to meals is wonderful. The Sushi is the closest thing to the sushi I ate in Japan.

We wanted to have dinner with our family at a slightly different cuisine than the normal way to go. Someone said Japanese and were were ready to go. This restaurant is at the end of a one story mall so is not congested with ample parking. We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated. They have a great selection on their menu and the service was fast. The good tasted great as well as our company sharing this enjoyable time. Check it, take someone, and enjoy!

Fantastic. Some of the cheapest Japanese good I have seen particularly in Cali. Obviously not of the HIGHEST quality but don’t let that deceive you into thinking it is bad. 10/10 would go again.

This is a solid Santa Maria find. It has been a regular in my rotation for over thirty years and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal hear Consider the Family dinners to go and the Teppan Tables for special occasions.

The service was very good. It is a comfortable space. The dinner for 4 included a little cup of what was called vegetable stir fry. We were then served a huge plate of tempura, mostly starch, soggy with oil. Then a plate with strips of tough beef and tender chicken, swimming in teriyaki. I also had 2 orders of sushi which was quite good, though smaller cuts than most places.
