Some of the best food I’ve enjoyed in Sarasota. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente. Sauces for fish (branzino and grouper) were delicate. Portion sizes were what they should be, more as in Italy, just enough. Rigatoni had a light sauce and a good portion of sausage. I can tell the chef is skilled and cares about the food. Too bad others haven’t had a good experience. We will definitely return!

We have been to Fiorella’s 4 times since the first of the year. I believe they opened in August of 2022. We chose to try it in the first place because it was open on Sundays and the menu looked very appealing. The chef and servers are great. The pasta (house made) dishes are especially good. There is typically a starter, pasta and entrée special each night. The bruschetta starter is unique, not your typical style, and awesome we get it every time we go. The chef is willing to accommodate a diners personal wants and needs. The portions are a perfect size, not too big and not too small. We haven’t tried every dish on the menu yet but those that we’ve had were excellent. It’s a small intimate type of restaurant. Make your reservations early for the weekends because they fill up fast. We took friends with us the last 3 times we went there and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. This is fast becoming our new favorite Italian restaurant!

Delicious Italian food! Service is great! Chef is very friendly and knows how to make Italian sauce! We had Eggplant Parm which was absolutely delish! My husband had a special: cavatelli w/sausage and that was great! I had the homemade ravioli which was out of this world! Topped off with a homemade cannoli! for dessert. What a feast! We recommend everyone should try this fairly new restaurant!

It was our first time dining at Fiorella and our party of four enjoyed it immensely. The atmosphere was charming and the acoustics made for easy enjoyable conversation while dining. The burrata appetizer was plated beautifully and the spinach salad was a healthy hit at our table. The Mahi Mahi and Swordfish were prepared perfectly with a thoughtful taste balance. They offer a decent wine selection ( mostly Italian wines). The menu boosts the expected Italian fare, but with several creative touches, which were unexpected and greatly appreciated. We will certainly be back. I only wish that I’d taken more photos of our food to share.

Wonderful birthday dinner party at Fiorella. Inventive and delicious cuisine influenced by Abruzzo, and the menu is full of dishes that you won’t find anywhere else. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are more than happy to accommodate large groups and private events. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the food is absolutely fantastic.

Dropped in on a quiet Tuesday evening. Our waiter and the chef (who we met later on) were so nice and welcoming. I sincerely wish I could remember our waiter’s name (maybe Daniel?), because we had really perfect top-notch service! He described and recommended a few dishes when asked, was attentive and thoughtful, with perfect timing at serving the courses and never once rushing us through our meal. My sister and I enjoyed a lovely wine, we shared mussels which were very good, with bread that was excellent, and Bolognese pasta which was absolutely to-die-for!!! Loved it! We will be back. Very highly recommend!

Wonderful meal, starting with the delicious eggplant appetizer, followed with Penne (gluten free) Bolognese for me, and spaghetti (noodles made fresh in-house) for my husband, with a side of grilled vegetables. We each enjoyed a glass of Montepulciano which was a perfect accompaniment. Excellent server, and we enjoyed chatting with him as we were his last customers of the night. Highly recommend Fiorella if you are in the Sarasota area.
