Our first visit to this restaurant. Our waiter was new and couldn’t answer our questions about the menu and wasn’t exactly sure how dishes came. That’s fine…..we went with our gut and tried dishes that sounded good to us. They didn’t disappoint. Our seat was secluded (almost as if we were in a party room), and the music was so loud it was hard to hold a conversation and hear the waiter. We definitely give it another try but request not sit area.

Traveled to North Carolina from Kansas and was looking for an authentic Mexican seafood restaurant and stopped here. Delicious food, great service, would recommend to anyone! We ordered the El Ray Del Mar platter and had guacamole made for us table side. Will definitely be coming back when I visit again!

The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful! The staff were so friendly and fast, we absolutely loved the homemade guacamole made fresh at the table. Our food was better than we could’ve asked for. I highly recommend taking a few friends and splitting a seafood plater, you will not be disappointed! Also if you are a sports person they have TV’s and a huge projector playing a variety of sports!

It’s an excellent restaurant. It’s not your typical Mexican restaurant that you run in for a taco or burrito. You can get those items. However, this food is prepared by a chef, with every exotic seafood you can imagine. Like steak, lobster, octopus, ceviche, red snapper. It’s a dining experience. Try it, I think you will like it.

Absolutely amazing experience all around. My husband and I came with some friend on Cinco de Mayo. My husband is from a coastal town in Mexico and found the found very authentic and of course, delicious. The cantarito and the michelada were great. There was a live band on the patio and we felt like we were in a front row concert. The guacamole, fried shrimp, and molcajates were fantastic. The service was excellent, especially for such a busy night. If you want a quiet, peaceful vibe, this isn’t it. If you want delicious seafood, great service, and a lovely environment, Mariscos Marlin is perfect! Can’t wait to come back!

A little in shock that my large margarita with 1800 silver tequila was $33. Most people dont ask for a price when ordering the most common drink made at a Mexican/hispanic restaurant because in 15 years of drinking margaritas I have never paid this much for a drink. When I complained about it to the manager didn’t care at all! He said “sorry”. So I will never go here again. A cubeta of beers, or 3 shots would have been cheaper than this margarita. So don’t be surprised when they charge you an arm and leg for one drink. Bad business, highway robbery. I do NOT recommend this place for drinking margaritas unless you wanna go home poor.

I had the most delightful and unforgettable dining experience at Mariscos Marlin! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the lively and enchanting melodies of mariachis that instantly set the tone for a fantastic evening.
