The staffs are friendly and very attentive. Great wine lists. The persimmons salad was the best at all time. Also the butter that came with a bread service was really good. I have tried the Moules Provencales a few times I think it’s too salty. The white cream sauce on the escargots with bone marrow was a little bit too overpowering.

Exquisite food with wonderful attention to detail. Got seated immediately. This was the first time I had returned to Chez Loma since its remodeling. The restaurant remodeling is charming and is decorated tastefully. You feel like you’re at a restaurant in Paris. The staff is welcoming and warm. From our first interaction with the hostess, our server was attentive and kind, and lastly, the manager personally greeted us and thanked us for dining. Couldn’t speak more highly of Chez Loma staff. I highly recommend the escargot, I was hesitant at first, yet upon first trying the snails I was blown away by the overwhelming flavor. Each component of the dish worked extremely well together, will be ordering again! As the night went on, each course then was better than the last. Highly recommend coming by!

My friend and I ordered the Filet Minion med and it was served rare. They took it back. They served it again it was grilled on the outside and still rare on the inside. One of the filets was tough and chewy didn’t seem like a filet at all. Sides were good. Was not worth the money.

So happy we decided to try this long-established restaurant. Great wine and food and service was great. FYI, parking is scarce as it’s in Coronado and the restaurant doesn’t have it’s own parking spaces so plan accordingly.
