The pizza was decent! I wouldn’t go to a food court and expect to order pizza-by-the-slice. There’s obviously better out there. But on Fripp, the convenience of the location and the quality for what it is (as well as price) really made this a decent stop.

We got here a little before closing and the woman at the counter never hesitated to serve us. She was very friendly and had our ice cream to us in no time. We sat outside so they could go ahead and close. About 10 minutes after they closed, a family pulled up for ice cream and went to the locked door. Before they could walk away, she had already rushed over to unlock the door and tell them she would serve them. Grade A customer service right there. I regret not getting her name.

My four stars are certainly not for the pizza. For all the fellow reviewers here who are claiming the pizza is great: I’m sorry you haven’t had really delicious New York pizza. And my sister confirmed for me that it was not worth it as she finished eating a slice. [Getting a fresh slice out of the oven is the way to go, not one that’s been tanning under warming lights for who-knows-how-long.] I, however, trusted my eyes: the onion rings looked delicious, and they absolutely were. This was my first visit to Fripp Island. I stayed for a week, but I only stepped foot in this Food Court one time. Nevertheless, it is my strong personal opinion that the onion rings should be far more praised than the pizza (as of May 2021). Also, I’m seeing a lot of happy ice cream reviews here too, so I will remember to see what all the hype is about next time I visit Fripp: I enjoyed my stay on this island with my family and friends. ☺️

Definitely convenient to have fast food and ice cream on Fripp but unfortunately the service and the attitude of the staff has gone from poor to horrible. Stopped serving ice cream 10 minutes before closing time, not giving any reason why. Very long waiting time. Staff stood at the counter chatting while 30 plus people waited to get ice cream and pizza. Poorly organized to handle rush hours and bad attitude when not busy. Resort manager was attentive to the complaint and appreciated the criticism of a 19 year resident of the island so the services can be improved.

Ice cream has always been excellent. Cleanliness and kindness of staff varies. I always try to be cheerful…some days you get it back but most days you get an unenthusiastic smile. The manager was pretty nice the other day, bringing ice water while we ate ice cream. Be sure to have an amenity card ready. I haven’t tried the hot food (pizza or chicken) but I wouldn’t expect anything more than typical fast food quality. Good news for them is that you don’t have the luxury of options.

I have been coming here since I was a little girl; this has been our family’s vacation spot for decades. I decided to spend my 30th birthday here because it holds such a special place in my heart. This is the first time that I’ve ever experienced such horrible disrespect. The staff here is absolutely ridiculous. An older lady before me luckily stood up for herself and others with the lack of respect that the staff had for everyone around. I can’t believe Fripp is allowing this to happen. Very disappointed.

We brought friends in for ice cream on a Saturday night. The staff was WAY less than friendly when we arrived even though there was only one other person there at the time. The ice cream was good – well the ones they had …. after my son ordered chocolate chip (w a please) the girl looked down, dropped the mostly empty container on the floor said “no more chocolate chip” and looked at him waiting for him to order again. So we all got our orders fine but the whole place was dirty and unkempt. It was really a disappointing visit. Especially since it is the only spot on the island for a similar treat!

TERRIBLE service. halfway through my order the lady just walked away! they are so rude to you and they didn’t even give me a receipt when i asked for one. my ice cream was scooped into a cone but FELL OFF and when i asked for a bowl i was told i had to PAY EXTRA! for a styrofoam bowl!! to carry the remaining. disgraceful. this wasn’t just one time too, i’ve been going to this place for 16 years and hate it more every time i return. a consistent disrespect. food is what you expect, it’s decent, but the one star is for the horrible service. wish i could give this place zero stars…

Prices were reasonable. We stopped here every night on Fripp to get our kids some ice cream. We tried a slice of the pizza, and it was very good. Nice quick snack stop without breaking your wallet.

The girl scooping ice cream was not very personable, and acted like she was less than happy to be at work. We came in as a group of 9 and spent 47 dollars for horrible customer service and every time we come there out of one or two of the ice creams. At least the ice cream was good.
