This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The blend of spices is exquisite, complex, and subtle. The portions are ample. The dishes labeled with the pepper on the menu are really hot, so be sure to ask the chef to tone it down if you can’t handle heat. Overall great dining experience!

UPDATE: Ordered the Thai Pho today. I wanted a comforting, healthful soup, but it was not at all what I was expecting. It was really sweet! I don’t eat much sugar and it didn’t sit well with me. Sickeningly sweet. Lost my appetite for the rest of the food I ordered. It was also difficult to eat. There were huge pieces of bok choy and thick clumps of noodles. Not happy, disappointed this time.

Patcharee’s is a hidden gem in Colorado. This hole in the wall joint serves the best Thai food I’ve tasted in the state. Normally Thai restaurants Americanize the flavors and dishes and add none of the delicious funky flavors. Not here. All the good, zero bad. Amazing heat levels, delicious umami, and great gentle nods of service. Saving this location for my trips near Gunnison, as I absolutely loved the food.

This is by far our favorite Thai restaurant anywhere. We occasionally come over to Gunnison from Colorado Springs and always take advantage of stopping by Patcharee’s for lunch or dinner. She has a wonderful way with flavors and giving you something high quality. You won’t be disappointed with anything on the menu but we are partial toward the chicken pad Thai and the Tom Yum chicken soup. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I used to say this was the best place to eat in town. I sadly am not sure anymore. They have good food but the service isn’t the same. I placed an order and thought I was going to have dinner ready but sadly it wasn’t. Lack of communication and they use too much refined sugar in their food. Also, it says they use local and organic food in this deli and I don’t think they even try. They go to the front range to pick up their resources and I don’t believe any of it is organic or healthy. If they tried using monk fruit instead of refined sugar and products from the health food store they are in or deal with local suppliers for their dishes that would make such a difference but they don’t. I wish we would get a healthy , good restaurant in town. Very sad.
