Went there for dinner with my boyfriend. I got the grouper encrusted crabmeat and he got the lamb. Both were good, as well as the starting soup. We also had desert which was excellent. The service was good and the chopped up nature of the seating makes the place feel intimate. The decor inside is consistent with a house built in the 1850s, and is very pretty. A great place for date night. I can’t wait to go back in the summer and sit at the beautiful outdoor seating.

Mediocre food. I found their filet mignon to be the worst I had in my life that I couldn’t finish it. It was very dry and overcooked. The default cooking level was medium rare, but it was well done. The veggies were steamed (sorry, but it looked like the ones in the frozen vegetable corner at Kroger). My husband ordered New York Strip — also couldn’t finish the dish. The demi glace sauce ruined the entire dish.

My husband and I ate dinner here while on our wedding anniversary trip. While the food is pricey, it’s definitely worth it for the taste, quality, and supporting a chef-owned restaurant! The Victorian style house converted into dinning rooms made for a cozy, yet fancy, and comfortable environment. Finally, our service was wonderful! I believe our waitress’s name was Valerie, and she made our experience great. If my Husband and I are ever in the area again we will definitely be back!

Everything was amazing! The Dijon mustard dressing was the highlight of my night. We also had dessert but it was so good that I forgot to take a picture.

We enjoyed a very nice meal at the Summit Restaurant. We had eaten there years ago and wanted to come back as we’d had a good experience. We were not disappointed. The setting is lovely inside an old house perched on a hilltop. We ate outside on the porch as the temperature was perfect.

We have frequented this wonderful restaurant for over a decade. Outstanding every time. The chef goes out of his way to make sure the meal suits you. The food is completely home made down to the whipped cream on your dessert. He hand made chicken nuggets on the fly for our granddaughter. She is a picky eater and devoured them. He is a dear soul and we highly recommend. Whiners who critique this place should just communicate while dining and I know they would oblige.

House salad was delicious. Crab Cakes themselves were delicious and very big but the pasta underneath could have used more sauce. The green beans were also very good. Was too full to order dessert. Had some good wine and the bread is Sister Schuberts rolls so they’re very good. Atmosphere is nice, clean bathrooms, large outdoor area.

Such a cozy place to have a nice night out. Great for a romantic evening. The food was very well executed and the sauces were bursting with flavor.

If you are looking for a “fine dining” experience this is absolutely not it. We were greeted by multiple children running down the stairs and around the restaurant(assuming the workers children?) We had a reservation for 8:30 and not get acknowledged at the host stand for at least 10 minutes. Once we finally spoke up, we were told there was no host and no table available for us. We waited an hour outside for a table to open up. Once it did, no one could be bothered to clean the table. While waiting, we were not once addressed, no manager to be seen, just kids running around us… more like a daycare than a restaurant. We finally decided to leave and did not even get to try the food after an hour and a half. Please do not waste your time.
