Lagniappe Café for lunch today for the first time. Wow, thank you Joel, you were absolutely right, Delicious. I had the Lagniappe Burger as presented; layered with fried green tomatoes, applewwood bacon, remoulade sauce, choice of cheese, I chose pepper jack on a corn dusted kaiser roll. Served with your choice of one side from the menu, I ordered the house salad. Burger was one of the five best I have ever been served. Salad was fresh and crispy toped with homemade croutons. If you have not been their, get in there, its worth the short drive from Shelyville. Oh, deserts I had the white chocolate chip bread pudding with their rum sauce, absolutely delicious. Also service is great, and friendly. Chef / owner makes he way around to your table, nice personal touch.

Newish restaurant in town at the corner in the square. We stopped in to eat there while we were out on a Sunday drive based on the few reviews we found – all of which said really good things about the food. You will not be disappointed. The moistest best catfish I’ve ever had. Chef straight from New Orleans. Nothing else like it in town. A must try. We will definitely be back.

I’ve been a couple of times now & have taken my mother for mother’s day & it’s the best food. We have loved everything we have gotten the food is excellent & the service is wonderful. The chef comes out & spends time with you to make sure everything is good & answer an questions you might have. I’m so happy to have them here & have something new & wonderful & different to eat that’s close to home. Will definitely be back

We had the daily special on Friday 4/28 and the food was great! Our waitress was awesome! She knew the ingredients to everything we asked her about and helped us pick what we wanted. Our favorite thing was the fried green tomatoes and the beignets. The owner/chef came out and thanked us for stopping in and told us a little about the place. Very cool stop! See ya soon! *cheers*

Stopped in after our Jack Daniels tour. Staff are incredibly friendly. Ordered the whiskey grilled chicken sandwich which was so yummy. Came with a salad and for any Australians travelling it’s enough food to split. Chef came out got a chat and gave a suggestion for a New Orleans restaurant.

My son and I ate lunch there. We both had the shrimp salad on croissant with side of red beans and rice. Both were excellent! We then had beignets for dessert. They were hot and had a very good taste along with plenty of powdered sugar. The staff were very friendly and prompt. The owner came out and spoke with us. We look forward to coming back and trying some of the other wonderful sounding food on the menu.

Waterfall Yoga Therapy
Cute cafe where the chef comes out to say hi and make sure you enjoyed yourself. Had the burger and it was very yummy! Great place to rest your feet before you taste test all fudge, booze, and wine Lynchburg has to offer.
