My partner chose this place after reading the reviews about how great the catfish is. I don’t do seafood, but I love ribs, so we went. We were greeted as we came in and offered any table. The first thing the waiter told us, even before we asked, is that they were out of catfish and had only a half-rack of ribs left. My partner was very disappointed since he chose this restaurant especially to try the catfish. We should have left at that moment, but my partner decided to give the shrimp a try. I had the last of the ribs. While waiting for our meal we couldn’t help but notice all the Bible verses and Jesus stuff hanging on the walls all around the restaurant, which made us a little uncomfortable. The shrimp that arrived were like something you buy in the frozen foods section at the grocery store and heat up at home. The ribs I got were dry, stringy and chewy, like they’d been reheated for several days in a row. Two ribs on the end of the rack were burnt to a black crisp. The baked beans were pretty good, and the slaw was adequate but didn’t make up for the rest of the meal. I won’t be back.

The cashier was very nice. We had the Chicken Fajita Nachos and Shrimp Alfredo Spud. My son love the nachos. As for the spud it was big and awesome. Couldn’t eat all of it had to save some for later. That’s a good thing…. Check them out.

Great catfish, we get their catfish at least once ever week or 2. Really good slaw and fried okra as well. Not much of an atmosphere and usually have to wait a bit on the food, but did I say Great catfish !!!

This was by far one of the best reviews I’ve done in the past 2 years. The owners were extra friendly and very informative of the menu selections. I was amazed by the large portions and special recipes and ingredients added to common everyday dishes. Chicken BBQ nachos were amazing but the monster potato sealed the deal! The chopped carrots inside the potato was so sweet and cooked perfectly to blend right in plus a broccoli floret in almost every bite. The BBQ ribs were so tender and you can tell they weren’t pre-baked instead of grilled. The bake beans had a flavor with a kick that hit the back of your tongue full force. I encourage everyone to visit this location and have your appetite with you when you do! Superior customer service with the food quality to match! Now number 1 pick in Desoto County
