This is my favorite taco spot in all of Perth Amboy. The Tacos are always LOADED!! the meat is delicious and rich and the ambiance of the place is a whole vibe! I will say that their horchata is a hit or miss. Some data’s it’s thick and rich. Other days like today, it tastes like straight sweet water. Really puts the agua on agua fresca if you know what I mean. That criticism aside though, the establishment is very clean and it’s a well kept store. The service is awesome, prices are reasonable and they have a lot of stuff to offer. I do highly recommend the steak tacos with everything on it (which is what I got) and the chicken flautas! They are amazing. Also, just to answer any questions; today I was on a walk with my dog. I called and they let me in to pay with my dog. So they are dog friendly in my book, but always call to make sure if you are ever walking by with your pet and want to grab a bite.

My first time ordering from the restaurant only to be treated rude and I will never go back. I made a mistake and order something wrong and yes I fully acknowledge it was my fault. But when I was told that I had no other choice but to pay for it or if not the Waitress would have to be responsible to pay for it. She stated that her boss makes her pay for anything that is a mistake it doesn’t matter if it’s the customers. First of all if that’s true that is completely wrong. We’re all human and we make mistakes but to make someone else pay for your mistake is absolutely wrong second of all she was so rude to me I couldn’t believe it I’m a first time customer and I’m bringing your business rather than you save the business you choose to belittle me and then tell me that I’m speaking wrong to you and you’re a Christian which had nothing to do with the fact.

Really nice, mostly Spanish-speaking bakery and diner tucked into downtown Perth Amboy. Excellent-sized portions, great value for money, a little greasy if you’re okay with that. The toast they serve is lightly fried in butter, which makes it extra delicious. This is a big place, well established in the neighborhood. They have a full line of bakery goods from bread, to cookies, cakes and baked goods. If you can’t choose what cake you like best, move down the counter to the small squares of cakes to take home and try. There are no table, or chairs. This is a take away bakery shop. The lay out is the old large shop for the large crowds that do come. The butter cookies are light and fresh. The place is clean and kept neat. There is plenty of parking.
