Food is good, but when they bring out the salsa and chips the salsa is only 1/4 of a bottle. Ever since the pandemic they have reduced it at first it was only 1/2 full. Other Mexican restaurants bring out full bottles. We have had to ask for 2 or 3 bottles which is ridiculous. Sorry. They couls improve on that. Sorry.

The beef products are very salty. All you can really taste is salt. The tamales don’t have much flavor to the meat and are somewhat dry other than the sauce they add to the top. They don’t have guacamole, it’s like the Dean’s avocado dip that they use and call it guac.

The food looked plentiful but was not eaten. If plentiful is what you come for, then you will be satisfied. The worst part was one of the waiters who apparently was having a bad day. He must have thought I didn’t understand Spanish. Not only did he treat my guest and I with frustration and disdain when I asked politely for tortillas (that they forgot to bring to the table to go with the ordered fajitas), but also said some things that made me question the safety of trusting them with our food. Needless to say, we paid for our food, and left as fast as possible. BEFORE eating. I was very disappointed that this waiter was trusted with the reputation, care of their patrons, and the food of this establishment. I just do not think it is safe to eat at a restaurant where they employ waiters that make us question the safety of the food. Be wary. Be aware.

Really shocked to be giving this restaurant a one star review, but I feel others should have a heads up when you’re spending $40-$50 easy on two people to eat. I recall not long ago this place being one of my favorites on Highway 9, but in the last three times I have gotten take out from this restaurant, the food has been extremely bland, to the point that is seems flavorless. Not sure if it’s a new cook being conservative about the salt or what but I won’t be paying for food from here anymore when LaPaz and numerous others are down the street.

This is a solid choice for Mexican food. The staff here are super friendly, and the service is fast and excellent. I really like their Pollo Fundido. It is the best I have had at a Mexican restaurant. I typically eat here at least once a week. Go try some today! They will not disappoint.

In the past we haven’t had many issues with this place. However, the service today was a disappointing experience. My children didn’t get their cheese quesadillas and the server walked in circles through kitchen and was on other side of restaurant the whole time. Eventually we were able to get more chips after asking a person who was not our server, and even he acted like that was an inconvenience. Go get better Mexican food and service up the street!! If I’m paying for food I expect good customer service. We won’t be eating here again.
