Coney McKane’s is a family owned and operated business since 1997. Flo, loving known as Grandma Flo, and her staff create delicious meal selections and made from scratch desserts. Her secret pie crust recipe will transport you to a time when your own grandma was whipping up desserts in the kitchen. The pie may bring you in, but we hope the food and atmosphere will get you to stay.

The loaded waffle fries picture on google reviews is what brought us in! Short wait to be seated, we asked the hostess if we could bring our dog from the truck to sit by us outside, hostess asked if the dog was friendly, we assured her she was. We ordered the loaded waffle fries and drinks, the loaded waffle fries were BIG (we ordered a large to share) and our food came out after the appetizer. Main courses were very good and the peach cobbler with ice cream was a taster way to end the meal. Worth the wait for sure!

Went for dinner and everything was great! It was pretty busy so waitress was running around but still did a good job. Food was amazing for both my husband and I! I had the Friday Fish Fry dinner and hubby had French Dip Sandwich. Would recommend both!

First off, their food is absolutely delicious, and the service, fantastic. The atmosphere/decor is very laid back, and tasteful. I loved the vibe of the establishment so much so, that my husband and I were married in their upstairs dining room in June of 2021, and it was officiated by one of their staff members, Bunny. I thought that was so unique, and cool. Not to mention affordable. All they ask is that you have your meals there. And they provided the most gorgeous, small wedding cake to us for no charge. I thought that was so awesome of them. I can’t thank them enough for helping make our day special, considering it was right in the middle of the covid pandemic, so we had to limit our guest list dramatically.

Everything was Absolutely Amazingly Delicious. The Bloodys were on point, the Southwest Chicken Rolls had Amazing flavor, the Buff-ickory Chicken was Killer and the French Dip was packed full of flavor. I highly recommend this place!!! check it out not one complaint here at all great great service, the food was amazing and the atmosphere here was chill and laid-back.

Love the food here! I travel to Decatur often and eat here as much as possible. I am a vegetarian and they have a really good spread for me. I recommend their black bean burger for sure. Finally, save room for pie!

We decided to try Coney McKane’s on our last night in town. Really wanted to try breakfast there but never made it. Dinner was really good. We had a short wait, as this is a very popular spot. In short, it was worth the wait! Staff was super friendly and efficient, food was delicious and offered interesting new interpretations on old classics. Kim loved the asparagus soup as well.

As advertised! Everything we ordered was very good and the dessert was excellent . Coconut cream pie was some of the best I’ve ever had. The only reason service was 4 instead of 5 was nobody addressed us for several minutes upon arrival and then they didn’t tell us we wouldn’t be seated until our party of 7 was all there( 3 were enroute from the civic center). Apparently we missed the sign stating that policy. Once we were seated the service was outstanding.
