I was so excited to hear they finally opened a Michigan location and it happens to be right in my backyard. Loved this place out of state and love it the same here. Food is Fresh, Hot, Juicey and Crispy. Service is generally fast between 5-10 minutes after ordering. I will admit the building is quite small and crowded especially with them putting this in the heart of campus, I think they should have designed it to be a bit bigger but nothing can be done now, either way it doesn’t affect the food. Overall Canes has a place in my heart and their food is always amazing!

I picked up some take-out from here. I got the box combo. Sure, they do chicken fingers well but, that’s the thing it’s a simple meal with no frills. For that reason, don’t come here expecting food that will impress. Besides the chicken finger, I was not a huge fan of their coleslaw. It had a weird sweetness and lacked in creaminess. I also wish they would have included more cane sauce with my order. All in all, it’s a pretty big deal to see a west coast chain like this finally open a location in Michigan. With that said, you should expect nothing less than fast food quality food and service here.

THIS is the only Raisnig canes chicken in Michigan. So if you don’t know the location it’s on Michigan state university area. That be said the best time to visit is when the student on on break. If not you will be waiting a long time for your food. The food was fresh and hot and the service was good. 3 pieces combo is going to cost $9.79 and the 4 pieces combo is $11.39. Get the lemonade with the sweet tea mixture WOW.

I’m a Caniac!! Got the Caniac combo and it was prettttty good. The toast was great and a highlight, I’d recommend getting extra toast like we did and a couple sauces. (We got 4 extra sauces but only needed two more). The place was packed during Sunday lunch and the line was frequently out the door, but service was relatively quick? It took around 10 minutes while packed to get food.

OPEN ONE IN METRO DETROIT!!! Love this place. One of the best chicken fast food restaurants in the country. I’m so happy I don’t have to drive 2 hours to get to one now but I still have to drive an hour and a half. I think y’all under estimate how successful y’all would be in metro detroit. Still, very grateful we have one in Michigan.

Lunch was busy but not packed. Service was fast and friendly. The three piece with fries was a good size meal. The chicken came out so hot to handle, but it was delicious. The breading was nicely seasoned and fried well—not overly hard but also not soft or mushy. The inside was juicy and the chicken had a good flavor. The fries were ok. I’m not a fan of crinkle fries and they’re very bland. But the toast was buttery and soft. The sweet tea was very sweet. For fast food, would recommend.

The parking is a little chaotic. Had to pay seventy five cents at the parking ramp. Because there was no parking on the street. It was seventy five cents per fifteen minutes. The food is outstanding.. I wish you had a couple more choices of dipping sauce. All you had was ketchup, Honey mustard, Your signature sauce,. I’m glad I actually got to try you guys out.
