Nice and clean restaurant in Bound Brook, NJ. Great atmosphere. Best ceviche in the area. I took my friends-coworkers (non Peruvians) and they loved the “Ceviche” and “Lomo Saltado”. Definitely a place to try if you are in the area. The also have a “menu” especial Monday thru Friday which includes a soup, entree and a drink for a great price. (I believe is under 10 dollars-which is better than any fast food restaurant and healthier). I go to the restaurant at least twice a week during weekdays.

Everything was ok except we found extra tip charged on our bill for take out. Thats right, I was charged tip for take out, like 15%. Not eat in, take out. And to make it worse, I do not see anywhere on their website or menu that states that their will be service charge or tip extra for take out order. If they would’ve told their customer that they would charge extra in the begining and the custoner is aware, I do not think it would be a problem. Even though that would be weird and you may lose customer for charging extra tip for take out. Please include on the website that you are charging tip charges on top of everything else on your website so that the public is aware. Otherwise, it is like a SCAM to charge extra for take out.

I can honestly say, I really like the Pollo a la Brasa!!!! The food was on time, the restaurant was nice and clean. The staff was very pleasant, and the prices of the food were reasonable. The menu is very diverse, they serve usually Peruvian food, but they also have food from Central America,South America and some Pasta dishes in their menu. The Pollo a la Brasa, was so good that my coworkers, one from Europe and the other from China, are planning what to order the next time around!!!!

Stay away for the next few days. Wait staff is ill, coughed non-stop while taking our order, all the while sporting a filthy apron. In addition, we were told to wait for twenty minutes for kitchen to be cleaned, so we left instead. Plenty of options available within close proximity, so you all decide…
