A small group of us gathered to have lunch. This is a nice environment for a diner. It is order at the counter and then pick up there, unless they’re very slow and then they can bring your meal out to you. Most of their items are variations on grilled cheese but they are willing to make accommodations. They have some nice sides like a very good three bean salad. I had a Caprese melt: mozzarella cheese, tomato and a lovely basil sauce on White Bread. It was lovely. It gets very busy right at lunch time. We were there at 1:00 and it was very calm and laid back. Really enjoyed this.

Mainly Melts started as a food truck run by Amanda and Steve. They now have a store front location in Bridgton. We came in early on a Wednesday AM (closed Mondays and Tuesday for owners to do shopping, family time, prep, etc) and ordered at the counter. We stayed to dine in, Swiss Miss hot cocoa and tap waters to drink. Food was delicious, worth ordering 2nds if you’re hungry enough. Amanda was out front, Steve was cooking in the back. Orders were ready, bell chimed, communication with customers and staff was great. Food was low cost, likely because of smart spending by owners ie. throw away plates and cutlery. Self-bussing is encouraged but not required. Decor is personalized, colorful, and friendly. We will be back.

We live nearby and come here often. We love Steve and Amanda and feel like we know them now, mostly due to their friendliness and wonderful customer service. They are now open for breakfast and it’s great! It’s really worth checking out!

The food is AMAZING!!!. The owners are great and make you feel so welcome. I always order a taco melt with no tomatoes and they remember. No matter how long its been, they remember. It makes me feel special. No other place remembers orders. The atmosphere is relaxing and is a good place to go with friends-family or co-workers to hangout and just talk.

If you love grilled cheese this is the place for you ! I got the steak and cheese grilled cheese with tomato soup. It was so delicious. My hunny got the grilled cheese caprice on gluten green bread with hand cut French fries . Just as delicious as mine
