Food was actually good but it’s take out only. I called them to see what time they closed and they said the kitchen closed at 7:45 but they were open till 8. And I was like oh, so as long as we order by 7:45 we’re good? And they said yes…. No mention that they were takeout only (which would’ve been good to know!). Then we order two egg rolls and they gave us 4 and charged us for two ORDERS of two egg rolls (which we didn’t realize till after when we were at the park we went to eat). Kind of sub par service and I don’t get why they are takeout only…. They said they started that during Covid but that was like 3 years ago! And they have tons of tables. They said they don’t have enough staff for indoor seating but it takes like one min to wipe them down when people leave… we sat at one while waiting for our food (since we didn’t order till we arrived, not knowing it was takeout only) ‍♂️

Excellent food, and service, though they were busy, and there was only one guy working all the tables, (hiring) but he still did a good job. Food is always so good! I had Pad si-ew and my husband had Sesame chicken. So flavorful. Lots of families/single parents there with school age children. Friendly atmosphere, casual, but nice. Large window lets in a lot of light, with beautiful plants I enjoyed sitting by. Conversation at all the tables. In the mall near Coborns. Good, consistent quality of food and service for years. I recommend it!

It was our first visit. My husband stopped in the way home on a Friday night. He said it was busy and he waited a while. When he got home we were disappointed in the amount of food for the price. The sweet and sour chicken was a pint and was $13 and it was over cooked and dry. My husband’s wasnt even a full container. Four potstickers were $15! Will not be returning there.

Used to love this place but the last few times we went, things were very downhill. Containers only filled part-way, tupperwares of “noodles” really just filled with cheap vegetables (they’re seriously charging THAT much for one serving of lo-mein mixed with 3 servings of cabbage?), soggy/chewy wontons, incorrect orders, ridiculous wait times even if we are the only order they’re making, somehow our fried rice wasnt very fried at all?????

First time I have ordered from here and was pleasantly surprised. Loved the flexibility of the menu to add a protein to any dish or not as well as the spice level. Fried rice was an A+ we ordered the spicy fried rice and add chicken. Nice spice but not too much, great flair with the seasonings and loved the bigger pieces of basil included. The spicy reed curry with butternut had great flavor and spice level was right to the level I ordered. I would have like just a smidge more of the coconut flavor. Overall a great find!

This was the second time we tried Hong Thai in Albertville. The other locations were good so figured it was just one bad experience. Nope, I ordered the pad thai and figured you can’t mess that up. Well it’s no where near a pad thai flavor and to top it off, there was a strip of metal in the noodles that I bit into. 100% would not recommend.
