Was introduced to this place by co workers and was so glad to find out about the amazing food. The portions brought out were amazing and SO delicious. Those were some of the best greens I have ever had. The staff and servers were so professional and welcoming to our group. The is the real deal and I can’t wait to have the opportunity to go again some day soon. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Best barbecue in Decatur. Portion sizes are large. Good value for the money. I had the rib plate with baked beans and greens. So good I was ready to smack my mamma. Staff was excellent. Great job I will be back.

Listeeeen! It tastes as good as it looks. This was our first visit to Scruggs BBQ. From the time we walked in the door,until the time we left it felt as if we went over to that favorite cousins house that can throw down in the kitchen. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, even the restroom. The Mac and cheese was hittin’, the greens were cuttin’ up. And those Ribs….Bussin’ I didn’t even need the sauce. Don’t even mention that sweet tea. It was perfect. Its a 30min. Drive for us but we’ll definitely be back. Break away from the usual and come get some of this good food. It will become your new favorite.

Probably the best BBQ in Decatur. Some of the best plates in town and you get a big plate full of food. In my opinion the best, most filling is their big fully loaded baked potato that you can get with brisket, chicken or pork. overall a great experience!!

This BBQ spot was like eating at Grandmas, The food was delicious! The turnip greens were amazing, awesome flavor and texture. The green beans were sweet, smoky and savory very unique. The brisket was to die for, amazing flavor and Q’d to perfection. The chicken and ribs were on point as well, brisket won this round for me. Cornbread was not the boxed kind, the texture and flavor said homemade all day, very tasty!
