I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala. We had a strong craving for some Amar India food. They did not disappoint. My wife had the Lamb Curry. It was around lunch and they weren’t busy so we had fairly quick service. I will return.

As a local guide and top reviewer, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Amar India and was thoroughly impressed by the amazing service from the Sandhu family, Guwinder the host, and her father the amazingly talented cook are doing such a fantastic job here. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality was unparalleled and deserves far more recognition than it likely receives.

The place smells wonderful, the place was very clean and the food was absolutely delicious. It’s definitely a no- frills little restaurant but so worth it. I had the chicken tikka masala with garlic nan at a 4 spice level- it was perfect! Chicken was super tender and everything was very fresh- enough for two servings for me. My daughter had the chicken and mushrooms and my hubby had the chicken vindaloo and they both really enjoyed their meals. We are definitely coming back!

Food was decent. we ordered butter chicken, chicken vindaloo and chicken biryani. Prices are same everywhere after the pandemic but the quantity is less for the price we pay.

Very good food. The portion sizes are good too, especially the naans (unlike other places which reduced sizes post-COVID). We went for lunch at ~1:15pm and were told that lunch specials were not available anymore. In addition, customer service was lacking. It was a while before someone took our order (after I gestured several times). We wanted to order more and gestured again but it took a while before someone showed up.

I’ve ate this food in seven countries…. Tastes the same everywhere , it’s cheap food that feeds over a billion people … that being said , Amar India is way overpriced and way under delivers , food was good and spicy but , $16.00 for a single serving of chicken curry and $5.25 for a garlic nan ??? I’m here to eat, not to buy airline tickets for you to go visit the family. …”won’t be back”

My husband had a craving and we had to get some Indian food. We were thoroughly pleased by how delicious Amar India was! The portions were great, the service was fast, and when they realized that I wasn’t used to the heat, they brought out a little fennel seed candy to help my poor tongue. The chicken tikka masala was a level 2 which at other places is super mild but here it’s their regular so be careful when ordering! Thankfully, as I’m 6 months pregnant, my baby LOVES spicy food so I dealt to please the little one. We will definitely be back time and time again.

For the quality and quantity of food they are charging way too much. Very disappointing. For that price the food should be much better and they do not give enough rice for ordering three dishes. Spending $20 a dish they should at least provide enough rice to eat the dinner ordered

Their Dal Tarka is fantastic. It’s so good that I can’t bring myself to order any other dishes when I’m there.
