Arr Place Menu – Newport, OR

Type : American restaurant

Location : Newport, OR

When asked to define our food the answer is ‘clean food based on aroma, appearance, taste and texture.
We source locally, organically and adjust seasonally because it’s good for the planet and that’s how we like to eat.
We make almost everything in house and can accommodate most personal eating preferences.
Established in 1995.
Aymee & Robert met cooking in Monterey, CA. After they married and had their daughter Rebeka, all they wanted was to cook together in a place where she could be also. Hand-craft cooks spend a lot of time in the kitchen -lol.
A visit to Oregon to introduce Rebeka to Robert’s family landed them in Newport where they found a food culture and community that quickly became home. Arr’ Place was born!

Charming, tucked-away restaurant serving homemade American dishes featuring organic ingredients. Based on 102 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.6 stars. Price

Everything locally sourced, organic, fresh, from the farmers markets. This place is beyond words, there’s not enough stars. Come here if you appreciate quality and this identifies “made with love”. If you’re looking for quick and easy go do your thing but if you love food, this place is incredible! Mom and pop owned and operated. Sit on the right if you want a free show. We’ve been on the road for a few weeks and eat out a lot, this is by far the best food we’ve had, like ever. Love the hidden gem, it’s not easily noticeable, we walked by and didn’t realize it was a freaking diamond of a breakfast joint, looks like a house.

A unique spot, hard to find, limited seating, all food is homemade. We felt sorta awkward at first but ended up having a great time with the other guests and husband/wife owners/cook/server. This spot feels like you are guests in their kitchen. We had a great breakfast and lots of laughs and fun conversation.

On our most recent trip to Newport, my husband, in a fit of early morning insomnia and hunger pangs, found Arr Place on Google. By the time I woke up, he was champing at the bit.

You want to feel like you’re eating at Mom’s house and not at a tourist crowded restaurant? Look no further. This is a “hidden gem”, and a wonderful place for locals to get some of that home cookin’ with Ma & Pa running the show.

The best cup of coffee and eggs benedict, and an even better atmosphere! The owners of this place are incredible people you could talk to them for hours. I will always make sure to stop here everytime I’m in Newport!

This was the best breakfast I’ve ever had, in the coolest place and the kindest, friendliest service ever. I had the eggs Benedict with forest ham and it was the most splendid food I’ve eaten in quite some time. I cannot recommend this place enough for beautifully cooked food, fun conversations with the owner and excellent coffee served in your own French press. I’m already planning my next visit.

The food was absolutely divine. Small, cozy atmosphere. The owner was lovely and had me drooling before the food even arrived. Be prepared to spend a little more than your average diner, about 20$ a plate – but it is oh so worth it. Locally sourced delights, house made everything down to the jam. We will absolutely be back every time we are in Newport.

Cozy place down from the road with laid back atmosphere and occasional live music. Family style eating when busy or chatty. Cash or good checks only. The food is a testament to posh home made cooking. The lasagna had great flavor and crisp top. Dessert was very good with a home made cinnamon ice cream.
