Better than ya mama’s cookin’. (Sorry Mom!;) We came for breakfast (6:40am on a Wednesday), and it was fantastic. Best grits ever, no need for the salt shaker and it wasn’t salty; it was perfect. Biscuits obviously from scratch. Eggs over medium were also outstanding, as were both types of sausage. Lovely low-key place, gracious and friendly proprietors. We drove 20 minutes to get here and it was worth the trip. Apparently they have a daily lunch buffet that starts at 10am.

The best buffet of southern home cooking I have ever eaten at! Very reasonably priced too! The fried whole catfish was unbelievable, fried with cornmeal! The baked chicken is well seasoned. Fresh vegetables that are not from a can but I noticed produce boxes filled with fresh veggies. I will be back!

Came across this diner on our travels. FANTASTIC!! Our breakfasts were delicious! The service was above and beyond! Our only disappointment was they were setting up for a lunch buffet and we just had our breakfast. All of that food looked and smelled wonderful!

Absolutely darling place- the proprietor is a wonderful woman and she took the time to personally greet us and sit with us, and all of that is before you taste how good the food is! We had the all you can eat lunch buffet for breakfast and the fried chicken was legendary. Such a choice of food types and everything was delicious. Would love to go back.
