This restaurant is in a nice location near the ocean. The inside is very nice as well. Stopped in here for lunch and had the chicken parmesan. It could have been good, except it was plated in a puddle of water (see pics). It look like they didn’t strain the pasta and it ended up making the chicken very soggy. Also, there were several flies buzzing around interrupting the meal. One person that was with me is typically very picky about their food and they got the lobster roll. At $32 it was quite pricey but they enjoyed it and making them happy isn’t easy to do.

Sat on the rooftop. Near the ocean and great atmosphere. Had great Duxbury oysters. Subpar old fashioned drink. Didn’t receive my clam chowder. I thought the lobster roll and baked haddock were ok at best.

We had a visitor from Texas that requested fish and chips and Haddad’s did not disappoint. Seafood was beyond excellent. Clam chowder was hot, thick, creamy and delicious. The stuffie was big and chocked full of goodness. The fish and chips plate was loaded with lightly battered fish, a huge helping of French fries and fresh Cole slaw. The fried shrimp were plentiful and also had a light batter, and the onion rings are what all onions dream of being when they grow up. Service was pleasant, helpful and efficient. She never gave us her name, but she was wonderful. Our guest from Texas will make Haddad’s a must go to location on future trips to Massachusetts.

I’m not one to write nasty reviews. I had really high hopes for this place. The menu looked promising, and the atmosphere was nice. I walked in the door right after they opened and it took the two young girls 5 minutes for them to seat me. I’m thinking “Okay whatever I’ll live.” An older lady with short hair comes to me and takes my drink order- water with lemon. I get my water and it’s good (its water what do you expect lol).

This place used to taste great. However that place is being sold to to Venus…. which their food is greasy and tasteless. The food here that we got was the baked haddock, French onion soup, and chicken. The soup tasted average but the food was very greasy. Even the fish had a strange taste to it. The drinks were watered down because my wife said she feels nothing. Won’t go back there again. Pretty sad for a place that used to be fresh

I do not like the chowder spilled all over the cup. Ok chowder. Ok service. Average.

The food here was pretty decent, but the service was absolutely atrocious. I met up with some family the other day, and when my mother joined us and pulled up a chair at the end of the table, we were told she couldn’t sit there is a very abrupt manner. There was some miscommunication with the waitress, and it seemed like we would have to leave the deck completely.

Attended a group function and had a great meal. The view from the second floor windows is beautiful. Meal was served buffet style. Delicious Caesar salad, vegetables, seafood and chicken. Wait staff was very attentive. Would highly recommend for a group event.
