I got the beef and chicken kabob plate. Everything was good except to chicken and lamb was very dry. They were big pieces and small pieces of chicken on the same stick and it was black you can’t expect a small piece and a big piece to cook evenly beef was dry and burnt other than that everything else was extremely good I love the almonds I usually buy extra

This place is great. The staff was the most friendly of any restaurant I have seen in San Marcos. The food was awesome and there is plenty of it. Couldn’t even finish all. It will be my lunch tomorrow.

Best Mediterranean food in Escondido hands down. You will pay around $15 for a meal and it is worth every penny. Simple ingredients executed perfectly. This place has ruined every other Mediterranean spot for me. You can’t go wrong with the tri-tip plate.

I needed a quick lunch and went here based on the reviews. As a Mediterranean restaurant, I assumed they’d have gyros on the menu but couldn’t find any after staring for a while. I was told “the lamb shawarma sandwich is a gyro” and ordered that. It was NOT a gyro. It was pieces of lamb cooked like carne asada, but overcooked and tough. It was served on a pita with some red onion and tomato… and a LOT of dill pickles(??) It came with a small side of yogurt sauce, which was the most Mediterranean thing about it. The pita sandwich came with fried pita “chips”, which were cold, greasy and overcooked. Fries or a little salad would have been much better. It was ~$14 after tax.

Good food and Good customer service, the youngster attended me very good, knowledgeable and outgoing. I got a bowl of lamb and pickles with spicy sauce! Hit the spot after a round of Disc golf at Cal State San Marcos, when go to work at the hospital.

1st time and I ordered the Mediterranean salad with tri tip. For $10 you get a Delicious salad that can feed two people very well. Quiet atmosphere, the two employees there are very helpful very nice and can answer any questions that you have about their menu. I highly recommend this place and I definitely will be coming back for more. By the way the salad was AWESOME!!

Okay, so this was my first time to Pita’s. I had the tri-tip kabob plate. It was absolutely delicious! The meat was perfectly cooked, tasty and juicy. The humus was silky smooth and very flavorful. The almond rice was excellent. The salad was very tasty and crispy fresh.
