We’ve been coming to siesta key for vacation for several years and decided to break away from the seafood for a meal and try this place out. We will definitely be back! The service was great and the food was amazing! The pad Thai is incredible. It was so good we came back the next night. Highly recommend!

The service was great and the menu had so many options we wanted to try so there was a great selection. The spring rolls were good and seafood red curry was delicious. The beef noodle soup was not great, the beef was large chuncks of overcooked dry meat and there were barely any noodles it was not at all like a traditional pho or beef noodle soup if that’s what you are looking for.

Star Thai is a pretty, little, relaxing, quiet restaurant that takes you away from the hustle & bustle of Siesta Key Village. Beautifully decorated, & such cool variety on the menu. I normally order Panang Curry when eating Thai, but I found a Mango Chicken dish with vegetables on the menu, & it was so delightfully tasty! The cocktails listed on the board were a great price, & there is a happy hour.

This was my first time and the food was very good. Sushi was fresh, crab Rangoon s were perfect and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for great sushi in the area ! I will absolutely be back here next time I’m in town.

As a local business owner, we always have to recognize when we come across a business that just has a winning formula. I would acknowledge Star Thai and Sushi in the village of Siesta Key. The food is great, the location is quaint, and the staff are incredibly warm. In particular this establishment has found gold in their bartender, Golf. He has a great sense of humor and is always ready to entertain. He plays the trumpet for you, cracks jokes, and best of all, he remembers your name. He has introduced me to people that are now my close friends. It is absolutely my go to when My wife, Anya and I are hungry and want to wet our whistles. When I walk through the door. Golf calls out, “CAPTAIN JOE!” Which makes me feel like I am on an episode of Cheers. And the food is great too! We had a Superbowl party at our house this year and Star Thai Sushi, sent over the most delicious arrangement on a sushi boat. I recommend this restaurant whether you are a local or just in town for the week. Star Thai gets five stars from this salty captain. Stop by and get to know this locally owned restaurant.

Oh no no no! This won’t do! Our large party went from curious and excited to bored, restless and still hungry. Many missteps led to this review. First and foremost the food was flavorless, some was even still frozen in the middle. Our adventurous large party tried the duck salad, dumplings, sushi, panang curry, beef noodle bowls. None of us enjoyed our meals. None of us recieved a second glass of water or a second glance…the waitress left and never came back. We had to flag down a staff member for our check. Worst spend of a couple hundred dollars . Wish I had my time and money back!

Golf was our server and we also met Alex. They’re adorable!!! Food was delicious and both servers made the place entertaining and welcoming. The serving size was very good so there was no skimping on taste and serving size. Price was not exorbitant at all. I’m adding this restaurant as a place to go back to. I had fresh rolls, steamed dumplings, and whole fried red snapper. All delicious ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️Five Hearts!!!
