This is the second time in a row visiting this restaurant that the brisket was sliced in the wrong direction. It was sliced with the grain instead of against making it chewy, tough and dry. I ended up throwing it away as I didn’t have time to drive all the way back up and return it. The kitchen employees are not being trained properly. This location needs better management and quality control. Bandana’s prices have increased significantly and with the price increase comes the expectation of a good quality product or at least an edible one which I did not get. Bandana’s do better because nobody wants to throw money in the trash.

Stopped by for dinner on a week night. Staff was friendly, service was very quick, and food was pretty good. Prices were higher than I expected but portions were large. Seating area was clean and lots of sauce options to pick from. Some of the meat was pretty fatty but with the portion size I still felt satisfied.

Bandana’s does a good job for a local chain BBQ place. I’ve eaten it many of their locations over the years. I like the six different sauces they offer. Like most BBQ places keeping the meat at a good eating temperature is difficult. As well as keeping it from drying too much. If you get to Bandanas an the food is temperature right and not dried out from sitting in there warmers they’re just as good as any other BBQ place.

Got carry out and found when we got home that they got the order wrong. Paid for ribs, but we got turkey. Didn’t want to drive all the way back to get the order corrected, so we just paid way too much for dinner!
