This place had a great atmosphere and Laura was amazing. The food was the best part. My father had the Reuben and it was amazing. I wanted something lighter and the chicken salad sandwich w/ avocado was delicious. We will be back next time we’re in Corsicana.

A great spot for a tasty lunch with generous portions! I tried the Tuna Melt with onion rings. Tuna melt was two open-face slabs of rye with a slice of cheese topping off the tuna salad spread, very good and filling. Onion rings are crispy! Quite flavorful. Seems like most of downtown wants to eat there on Friday, but I didn’t have to wait for a table, and my server was a sweetheart with excellent tips on the menu.

This is the best meal I have had in a while. Their lunch special was meatloaf but I was hungry for chicken fried steak. It was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside, tender inside. Pipping hot gravy, fresh green beans- not canned, perfect mashed potatoes. Even the toast was perfectly toasted. I don’t usually finish an entire plate and I’ll ask for a to go box. Not this time. I couldn’t stop eating and I’m still stuffed. Quick friendly service too!

Great small diner. I’ve been here a couple of times now and the food is great and at a reasonable price. They are usually busy so space is pretty limited and the volume can be a bit high. I’ve only had one experience so far that was less then great with the staff and no one was mean or rude but we just kind of got forgotten about at our table and had to flag down any waitress so we could order or get refills. Usually not the case even when they’re busy the staff is usually attentive and kind.
