If Bob’s Burgers was a real place. Has a real 80’s burger joint vibe. The chef took over 15 minutes making my burger and tots so I had a feeling it would be good and they didn’t disappoint. Though good is an understatement. Biting into my bacon burger reminded me of a Piggly Wiggle cheese burger from the 80’s ( For those who know).

We came in on a trip from the Dallas area and were referred by locals! It didn’t disappoint at all. Alyssa was amazing and helped us with our order. Ashley gave us more information as well about the place. Food was cooked fresh to order with large portions. I think this is the perfect “mom and pop” burger spot with everything from a respectable cheeseburger to something called a Tornado that would simultaneously embarrass and completely satisfy whoever is brave enough to order it. I’ve come here a few times with my toddler, and the owners have gone out of their way to make him feel welcome and seen. We’ll be back.

When I am in Garland I always make at least one lunch visit to Burger Land. I’m working my way down the list of burger options. I’ve never had a mediocre burger… they are all far above average. I’m almost through all of them and the Jalapeño Cheeseburger and the Tornado are my faves so far.
