At our Columbus, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I still ate here…there were so many other people eating here I figured there was safety in numbers. I asked a mother with her 4 small children if she ate here regularly and she said yes. The place was actually clean,including the bathroom so the employees must be doing their jobs…but the owner needs to be investigated for the leaky ceiling and overwhelming stench of mold in the establishment, my coleslaw was not cold and had a sour taste, I was allowed to exchange it for corn after some back and forth regarding a .53 upcharge, which I didn’t mind paying. Would I eat here again…I would have to say absolutely not…I love Captain D’s and this location is not a proper representation of their business model. Please view the attached photos. Customer service could be a bit better.

I was able to place my order online. I just feel we do that for a reason and most people that are getting their order taken are standing in the same spot of online pick up. Plus it does not provide the 6 feet rule. So I have to wait to pick up just as if I was ordering it. Other than that great service.
