Lisa and I went there for lunch, we both got the prime rib platter. It came with apple sauce,corn and French fries. It was a toss up what was the best part of my platter. The prime rib wasn’t cooked like I was asked, it was about 3/8″ thick at best. Lisa didn’t even eat her prime rib, she told me the best part of her platter was the apple sauce. I have to agree with her the apple sauce was the best of my platter also and it probably can from a jar. The staff was very friendly and did the best they could no issues. The atmosphere in the restaurant was dated back to the 80s. I probably won’t be going back anytime soon.

A trip down memory lane! I remember coming here when I was a kid. Food is still delicious and our waitress very attentive. Big servings and the prices are VERY good! Totally surprised there weren’t more people here. Saved a lot more $$$ than the other nearby restaurants!

My dad and I were there for breakfast. The waitress was unbelievably great. The food was good and hot when it came to the table. The tables were a bit too close together for me. I don’t want to be rubbing elbows with my neighbor and I really don’t want to hear every single word that they are saying during my breakfast. Some people there were tallking pretty loud and it made it kind of hard to enjoy the meal. I get it, It’s the kind of place where there are a lot of devoted regulars that go there every day or every week and everyone knows everyone and everyone’s business. That’s fine if you’re into that kind of thing but it just isn’t the kind of place for me.

Had been here in 20 yrs. My 87 yo mom was looking forward to what used to be the BEST hot beef & Potato filling in Berks Co. What a tasteless plate full of trash. Filling tasted like poultry seasoning, beef had 0 taste, and the brown gravy was nothing more than diluted gravy master. will not go back.
