The service and atmosphere were spectacular. Megan and Alan are excellent servers. The entertainment (Dancers and singer) were a nice touch. Especially for a Thursday evening. The drinks were also great. The only 4 star experience was the food. It was good, but ultimately forgettable. But overall everything was good enough to warrant a return trip.

Dinner and a show? Say less. Be ready for flavorful, delicious, and playful plates that truly can cater to everyone. One must be ready to have fun and enjoy the vibe this place has to offer. Everyone that we have encountered has been lovely and are there to provide the best service, but still have a good time with you. I strongly suggest to ask for Michael, James, and Julia!

My friends and I took advantage of Houston Restaurant Week and made a reservation. CIEL, DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The atmosphere is amazing. There was a Live singer, dancers and a DJ that played music in between the singers sessions. The food was excellent. We all ordered off of the restaurant week menu, which was a 3 course meal…appetizers, main course & dessert. The Wagyu sushi roll was amazing. We ordered a variety of entries, all of which were very tasty. The service was excellent. Our waitress, Gina ,was nothing short of AWESOME! I would definitely suggest this restaurant if you want an EXPERIENCE and fine dining.

We had a fun time here while in town. Ciel is a good dinner spot to have a good time with clubby vibes. The DJ was solid and various entertainment including bottle service, a singer, and dancers kept it lively. The food was actually solid too, if overpriced. Sushi was fresh and well prepared. Our sea bass was tender and served with flavorful sauce as well.

The short summary is disappointed, way overpriced and overrated. I was looking forward to visiting Ciel after hearing mixed reviews by friends and while the place is gorgeous and has a good sound system with average service, thats where it ends. The drinks at $20+ each should be amazing but they’re definitely average. I decided to try a basic margarita instead and it was horrible as tasted like the sweetest margarita mix ever and no tequila ($22 as well). Moving on to the food, the Oysters are amazing as we ordered both versions but are they worth $11/oyster? Umm probably not. I was excited about the sushi platter as for $180 I expected a wonderful presentation and selection. This turned out to be the biggest joke of the night as you can see in the picture attached it was basically 3 rolls, 4 nigiri and a few pieces of sashimi. The service was decent although there were times where tracking down the waitress was difficult and the assistant couldn’t take orders or anything. Oh and there is an automatic 20% service charge added which is probably why the service is just average since three’s no incentive to impress. The music is loud so be prepared for minimal conversation.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My friend and I were expecting a high-end experience but were met with dismissal

This place is an experience. It’s like going clubbing while your sitting down and having a meal with your friends. It’s Def much more of an atmosphere than a dinning experience. From a live dj to gogo dancers to an incredible vocalist. The food was actually excellent albeit overpriced. The set menu for restaurant week is a good way to get a decently priced taste, the wagyu is absolutely delectable. You should Def pre-snack or pre-drink unless your coming with big pockets, and most ppl do. The valet parking is filled with lambos and teslas, and bottle service is aplenty. Def worth the experience. Felt welcome even with only dropping $100pp. Great staff, venue, did not feel pretentious.

Lots of rave about this restaurant I had to come see for my self!!! Beautiful place with great ambiance & aesthetics. Wait staff are super courteous, they offer affordable valet services also. The food was amazing! Started with the avocado salad, did the wagyu sliders and finished it off with crab Benedict! Every meal was super delicious. The service is 10/10. Can’t wait to come back for dinner 🙂

Horrible Experience. If you want to Gamble your Night then this is the right place to go. I made reservations for a special night 2 weeks in advance for 9:15pm . My party arrives right at 9 because we wanted to sit at the bar and get a drink or two before our table was ready. I checked in and was told my table was getting cleaned. The place was overly crowded! Super packed! Couldn’t even get to the bar and order a drink so we stood there and watched a few performances. Time went by and my reservation time passed. It was about 9:25 at this time. I told a host and he brought me to a table that was open. Upon sitting down another host comes up and tells me that’s not my table. And my party had to get up. That was so embarrassing. I can understand these types of mix ups so i wasn’t too bad of an issue. But then I went back to the host desk and came to find out they pushed my reservation back to 9:45pm without even telling me! The floor managers I forgot his name was super rude and did not try to make anything better. He was trying to ignore me when I was talking to him and he said we could go to the bar and get drinks and he would take care of it. Which was a lie and just a way for me to leave him alone. He did not come with me to the bar to let the bartender know to comp our drinks and he wouldn’t give me his name. That was just mind blowing to me. So we go back to the bar and wait. Coming up on 9:45 I go back to the host stand to see if our table is ready and I asked the same manager he said no. He showed me the tablet that had the tables and we were behind 10 Parties!!!!!!!!!! My table was not going to be ready until nearly midnight! I was so disgusted in the level of service, communication, and accommodation this restaurant has. I ended up leaving this was one of the worst nights I’ve ever had in a long time. So like I said do not make plans to have a good night here. They are over booking tables and the staff cannot handle the large crowd at all. Disappointing.

I had the pleasure of dining at Ciel restaurant and lounge for the first time and wow let me say it’s definitely more than I expected. The ambiance is great, the staff is great, the entertainment. Everything exceeded mt expectations!!! Not to mention our server Gina was the most sweetest and very attentive. She made sure we were always good and took the time to explain the concept and get to know us as well. We will definitely be coming back thanks to Gina and the amazing ambiance this place has to offer
