Outstanding BBQ here! I got the baby back ribs and they were fall off the bone tender and the sauce that came with was fantastic. Beans were great and the Mac and Cheese was also. Priced very reasonable and big portions.

The service and everything else here is great except for one detail- about 11 years ago, they got rid of the one and only sauce they had that wasn’t spicy. The name of the sauce didn’t change, but the recipe did. For someone that has acid reflux/GERD, there is absolutely nothing on the menu for you here. They had one option which kept me coming back over and over, and they made the mistake of getting rid of that option and now it’s solely a food stop for those that like spice in all of their dishes.

I should have known to run at the sign of them putting completely unseasoned brisket into the smoker. I ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs and asked the young man if they were seasoned. He looked me right in the eyes and assured me they were. I’m not sure if he understood what I meant, but I can assure you as a proficient smoker my self, these ribs went into the smoker the same way they were putting the brisket in. I’m not sure they understand what it means to season meat.

Very nice people, but the baby back ribs had no flavor at all and were dry. I had a BBQ sandwich that was good with sauce but no smoke and no pork flavor. The Mac and cheese was good, but it was your standard stouffer’s. I hate giving a bad review, but you can not fix it if you do not know it is broke.

I love BBQ, I really do. But I find Rock store here lacks any discernible flavor at all. Last visit had an indifferent staff and flavorless BBQ.

This is the best BBQ place in waxhaw North Carolina right across from Walmart grocery store and Lowe’s and McDonald’s they have the best BBQ chicken chop up and coleslaw ever

As always… fantastic! I recommend the pulled pork, slaw and the potato salad. This location also has wings which are also good. They’re a decent size too. The sauces are delicious. Reasonably priced. Great service.
