Wow! We tried this place for the first time today, ordered Mac for our daughter, potato wedges and chicken. Firstly, the Mac and cheese was noodles… with no cheese and tastes like mold! Thankfully she changed her mind and wanted a happy meal so she had food to eat when we got home. The chicken is fried, which is fine but has no flavor at all. And the potatoes have no seasoning. They were barely cooked. This has great ratings so I assumed it was going to be good! But we were so disappointed, thankfully we are not close to this location so not a sadness that we will not return. Just unsure why it got 4.1 stars with the terrible of food.

We’ve given this place so many chances because they usually have good food. They get the order wrong literally every time. I called tonight (9/13) to place a carry out order and instantly got attitude from the lady taking the order. Once we got home from picking up the order we found that the well done fries we specifically requested on the phone order weren’t included with our food.

Is this place EVER open??? I’ve tried to order from here so many times and they’re always closed. Even on door dash…they will take the order then eventually cancel it. How are there so many good ratings? I’m convinced they’re fake reviews.

Visiting family in Brighton and dad wants chicken. Someone mentioned that their daughter always gets Mary’s. So we drive over and get Mary’s chicken combo 12 piece. Included was mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, and rolls. While the side were your normal fare, the chicken was better than I was hoping for. It was crispy, crunchy on the outside while juicy inside. It was made to order so it was piping hot when we got it home. The chicken was delicious! Will definitely recommend Mary’s and if ever have the opportunity I will revisit. Possibly get some fish next time….

MY WIFE & I really enjoy every chance WE get to indulge on the variety of foods offered @ Mary’s Fabulous Chicken & Fish! WE have a bit of a drive to go there, because WE live in the neighboring city, but, for US it is well worth it! The staff is welcoming, & willing to go the extra mile to see to it You are well served!

Generally has really good chicken and fish. Unfortunately their hours of operation don’t match what’s published. You can never depend on them to be open when they say they’re supposed to be open. Very disappointing because they do have good food, and I would frequent this place more often if I could.

The employee was super helpful and very polite. We ordered and had our food in about 10 minutes. I got to say I was very disappointed in the price and the portions. The same meal I remember from my childhood. I hadn’t been in years. The food was great. Heads up the tartar sauce has Dill in it. It wasn’t overpowering but it was definitely different. If you’re desperate for good fish and chips it’ll suffice but bring your wallet and not much of an appetite.

The chicken was excellent… tasty and juicy, but not greasy tasting. The coleslaw was not my favorite.The potatoes were soupy. I ordered extra tarter sauce for fried clams, which are also very good, but we didn’t receive ANY! Will probably get again, but just the chicken or fish and forget the sides. Make sure you check your order for all you asked for!
