My friends and I arrived to Phoenix with 0 expectations and absolutely no clue what the halal scene is like here. We stumbled upon this place just by chance and were greeted by the owner Hussain. He immediately welcomed us into his humble joint and made us feel like we were back home in Jersey. He was a gracious host and attentive to our every need. We all ordered chicken shawarma which were grilled to perfection and the fries were seasoned well. I was unable to get a picture of the chicken shwarma but we found ourselves craving it and made it back to Pita Valley the next day. I ordered the beef shawarma which was even better. Mad respect to Hussain and the employees at Pita Valley! I cannot recommend this place enough

The 4.8 star reviews brought me to try this place. Honestly, I’m not sure how they have such high ratings. The quality of the chicken platter was really bad. It tasted stale, rubbery, and like it was sitting there for a very long time. It was so bad, I was only able to take a few bites. We also got the kofta platter, it was slightly better but still lacked flavor and freshness. From the taste, it seems the food sits there all day and not much effort is put into the quality.

The best Middle Eastern restaurant in Arizona. The food is so flavorful and the customer service experience is exceptional. Hussein, the owner is such a perfectionist and treats his customers with so much care and makes you feel so welcome. Love this place and recommend it to all my friends and family.

Had a catering order for my daughters birthday and this place was amazing. Firstly, the ease of ordering was great. Called in, gave them my budget and the amount of people and he gave me a rundown of what he recommended. On the day of, he called to confirm we were still on for the pickup time, and it was ready exactly on time!

Don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews. Likely are from students and young fellas who have not ever had authentic mouth watering, moist, scrumptious real mediterranean BBQ before. We ordered every single meat item on our visit, and were hugely disappointed by the dried up rubbery meat that was served. Chicken cubes were a bit okay, but rest of the BBQ items…..

Pita Valley is a great place if you’re looking for a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern lunch spot! The owner of this restaurant/cafe is super friendly and gives excellent recommendations to help you figure out what to get. I got the chicken shawarma pita with fries and it was the perfect lunch for me.
